Oops, posted before I'd finished typing!! Feckin Laptop!!
What I mean is I'm not pg yet! And since 90% of the time people don't know until they are perhaps 6 weeks gone I don't think there is any harm in having a few drinks over Christmas. I'm not that conscientious!

My friend found out she was pg when she was 7 wks gonoe. She found out on the 10thJan. She had drank quite a bit over xmas and New Year. Her dd is fine.
I have never been told to completely stop drinking whilst TTC. Obviously the second I feel I have conceived I will not drink. But I'm just not that paranoid about it. Then again I may just be being complacent coz ds doesn't have any problems.
I'm really sorry about your childrens problems I'm sure it had nothing to do with alcohol. I think the worst thing is prolongued alcohol in take and regular binging through the 1st trimester.

Oh goody, another ttc thread. I just did the roll call on that one, so I'll do it here too ... ttc no. 2, only since Sept. Ds 10 months. On day 27 of cycle that varies from 23 - 33. So, who knows! Have a scan to check ovarian cyst as gone on Thursday, so will piss on stick on Thurs am if no AF by then.
