Hey Homeys (I love it and think it could catch on Wink)

Hope everyone has enjoyed the Bank Hol, albeit a bit damp!!
Back to work tomorrow, scan Thursday to see how its all going. Fx on track for FET in a week and half!!!

Weller how is the bench treating you? Hope you've managed to rest and distract yourself with all the Julilee celbrations x

Big wave to everyone

x

wellerbabe · 06/06/2012 07:05

pocket have been driving myself slightly mad and then had a bit of pink bleeding yesterday morning and been having cramps. I know it could be implantation but panicking that it's AF! Resting today as we did have a mad BBQ on Monday. Have started boob prodding but in the confines of my own home so far Smile

Fx for your scan

Hope you all had a lovely long weekend Grin

EllieMcBellie · 06/06/2012 09:22

Hey ladies :)

Having a hectic couple of weeks here as we are having a new kitchen fitted so the whole house is full of kitchen stuff!

Down reg is now over and I started stimming yesterday so hopefully the headaches will go soon (not been good with a houseful of noisy builders!)

Hope everyone is well

Pocket1 · 06/06/2012 18:32

Hello ladies, I'm an old timer just popping in. Lovely to see some familiar names and I hope you're all doing well and keeping your spirits up. For those of you that know me, I just wanted to let you know that five weeks ago I gave birth to my gorgeous DD. she was 7lb 12oz and came out on just gas and air. She had her hand up beside her head so managed to give me a third degree tear on the way out so I ended up in theatre with a spinal anyway! She is a delight....getting her to sleep in the day is a challenge but our nights could be a lot worse. I'm pretty much recovered now too.

Anyway, as a reminder, she was our fourth try at ivf and our third pregnancy. She was worth the wait.

Good luck to all of you.

Pocket1 · 06/06/2012 22:00

CONGRATULATIONS BEGINNINGS really fab news. Thank you for coming back to let us know your wonderful news. Hope you're both doing well xxxx

LissySilver · 06/06/2012 22:33

Oh beginnings how wonderful! You must be over the moon! My little girl also had her hands up by her face and tore me in two places! Well done you for only gas and air! What did you name her?

So thrilled to be reading all the good news in this thread. Although I haven't posted much, I am lurking, and wishing loads of baby dust to everyone.

Our lovely girl is 16 weeks today and an absolute joy!

beginnings · 07/06/2012 02:09

Thanks Pocket1 and Lissy. Her name is Catherine. The gas and air wasn't entirely by choice! The anaesthesist ordered a blood test to check my coagulation because of my thrombophilia but the little lady decided not to wait for the results!! I was glad in the end though - and DH is still impressed!!

I too occasionally lurk and it's great to see progress here....we're still debating when I'll be back on this journey, I want to wait a while but we might put a move on as I've gone to the wrong side of 35 in the last few months!

JosieSmith1 · 07/06/2012 08:39

Massive congratulations Beginnings Smile

My friend had her daughter on Sat, obviously. We've been in contact and I've seen loads of piccies on fb which, although heartbreaking, I quite secretly like looking at. I'm so jealous it hurts, but I'm over the initial sadness and just a bit mopey now. I've felt better, but I've also felt a hell of a lot worse and I came back, so I know it'll get easier. Another colleague/friend had a little boy yesterday and a colleague announced her surprise pregnancy yesterday, gush gush Hmm so I just went upstairs instead. I'm getting good at just being a bit bah humbug now instead of being inconsolable and crying my eyes out in the toilets Grin so that's an improvement, which is good as we're having a leaving party for someone else who's going on maternity leave Envy

Glad to hear everything is going well Lissy

Hope the stimming goes well Ellie

Weller how are you holding up? Fingers crossed for you

Hope you are all well

lucylookout · 07/06/2012 09:16

Congratulations Beginnings! Lovely name too (not that I'm biased, being a Kathryn in RL!) I can't remember properly now, were you at the Lister? I got a surprise BFP with ARGC after taking medication to bring down immunes, and am now due in 6 weeks. Crikey, where did that time go!? Lovely to hear from you. All the best to you and your new family Smile

Hi Lissy!

lucylookout · 07/06/2012 11:17

Josie, sorry, I hadn't seen your message when I posted mine. It must be very hard seeing your friend's pics. I'm glad you've found some coping strategies. Remember, your time will come. Things sound very promising with your new clinic, you just need to find extra reserves of patience and stamina to get you through the next few months. Hugs to you.

Weller, good luck!

Pocket, hope you're feeling positive and prepared about FET.

Ellie, hope you're feeling better now you are stimming.

Hi to all!

beginnings · 07/06/2012 11:37

Wow lucy that's fab news! Best of luck - it's quite a ride! Yes I was at the Lister. I'm currently enjoying poirot while dd sleeps on me -whatever works!!

Keziahhopes · 07/06/2012 11:39

Not long to go now Lucy

Keziahhopes · 07/06/2012 11:39

MoJangled · 07/06/2012 15:43

Hi girls another old timer creeping out of the jungle. Massive, huge congratulations to Beginnings and Lizzy! Wonderful, wonderful news. And i need to do some catching up as I gather there's more good stuff. Very good luck on the final stretch Lucy!

After our 6th and Final Cycle failed in January I was devastated and its taken me a while to come back but it was obvious right from the start that I wasnt ready to give up. I fly off to Athens tomorrow for our 7th and Final Cycle Wink . 7 DE embryos fertilised yesterday, hoping that major piece of good news will balance the imminent collapse of the Greek economy for my selfish purposes...

I've had to sort of sneak up on this one but I have lurked from time to time and keep hoping for good news for everyone going through this.

Waves to Pocket, Weller and Josie xx

MoJangled · 07/06/2012 15:57

And Sunny! Just read back and saw your news - WHAHOOOOO!!!!! Beyond thrilled for you! Grin Flowers

Italian well done you for looking into adoption so positively. I will be watching with interest to see how it goes as that will be our next stop if 7th&Last fails. Well, I've already decided that, DH will need more convincing... (DH has named the embies Happy, Sleepy, Grumpy etc... think we might need some of your inspiration for better names for any that come on board!)

Lexie1970 · 07/06/2012 16:06

Mojangled - that is fab news - i have everything crossed for you in Athens xx

Pocket1 · 07/06/2012 18:48

Wow where did everyone spring from!! Welcome back, so lovely to hear from you all. Full update from me later but really wanted to catch Mojangled before you fly off tomorrow. Best of luck to you my love, please come back and let us know how you get on xxxxxx Smile

lucylookout · 07/06/2012 18:57

All the best of luck Mojangled! Let us know how it goes. Everything is crossed for you Smile

Weller fx for tomorrow my lovely. Will be thinking of you and lets face it, obsessively checking mn all day till you post!! Smile x

Wow Lissy 16 weeks, I bet she is really growing.

Beginnings such a gorgeous name (my sister is a Catherine too). Btw you're still a spring chicken compared to some of us, so if you want to do it again, go for it!!

Lucy your turn v soon. How are you doing? I can't wait for you to come back and announce he or she has arrived.

Josie well done on being so brave, your turn will come. Just focus on that.

Kezia how is little David doing?

Mojangled sending you another hug for tmw. Will be thinking of you and sending up a prayer or two too. Smile

Sunny Badger Bugsy Maple how are you all doing??? BiscuitBiscuit

Mini what's next for you? Will you cycle again his month?

Ellie how are you getting on? What's next for you?

Big hug to Italian how did your room sorting go?

I feel a bit nostalgic at all the old names. It's so lovely to know you're all there as I approach my FET. I may need a bit of hand holding!

AFM scan went well, we are further ahead than the same time last cycle which is positive. Final scan next Tuesday, then FET will be confirmed for the following week. Celaxine jabs are okay, apart from a couple of bruises. I'll start the progesterone jabs next week too, any tips for these would be appreciated as I already feel and look like a pin cushion.
