Oh! Oh! I have thought of something else! I forgot to eat the last five days of advent chocolates and now I can eat them all at once! What? WHAT? Doesn't everyone's mum give their 36 year old child an advent calendar?

Hello dearest Kat, Alps and Sunny

SantasCave · 08/12/2011 10:50

Morning you chatty bunch.

Loving all the cat talk! We also have a contender for world domination in our 6yo might Molly. There is a picture of her on my orifice, but I don't think you can see it owing to my recent name change.
She is in turns super cute and super evil. In fact HWHNN and I have developed a rather embarrassing tendency to point at her as she trots through the house saying "Evviilllll" in our best Grandpa Simpson voice Xmas Blush
Rie sorry to hear about your pussy, but I'm sure I heard that heart murmurs are very common in cats and they more often that not get on with life just fine.

LP I'm so sorry to hear your latest update. That was thoroughly shite of him. I agree with the others that you both need to sit down and talk/shout/cry this out ((hugz)) for you.

Well menkulling has commenced. Today is 14dpo and the droid was due this morning (I'm usually pretty clockwork like on that front). No. Sign.
I've had cramps on and off for several days and my grumpiness over the weekend led me to believe it was imminent. Last night there was a teeny bit of brown blood when I wiped (sorry if TMI), but nothing since.
I refuse to get my hopes up as who knows if the Clomid hasn't messed around with this part of my cycle. Official advice is to wait until Day 42 before testing (today Day 34) but I'll be damned if I'm waiting that long! Will probably test this weekend if no sign.

HaveYourselfAFaithyChristmas · 08/12/2011 11:17

Ooh cavey.... how do you feel --except for menkul?
I have no cat, MSB has a serious dislike and wants a dog. I do not feel we have sufficient time to care for a dog but the little old laydee over the road has one she can't walk. A chap from up the road walks him but I have volunteered MSB to walk Champ if said chap is ever absent Xmas Grin
I have been back to the house and I will list a couple of boo hoos then go on to positives. I just had to bin all my pee sticks including the very special waiting to have lots of IC positives CBD just read through the list of stuff binned. I am optimistic though that most of it will be replaceable.
Positives yes I can do this
*MSB and I are alive. Wowza
*the iPad survived so I can both easily chin wag with the BESH and also have realised I can watch frozen planet in HD on the I player on here Xmas Smile
*there are some things that were knackered/old/unused that will be compensated/replaced so in that way we'll be better off
*now the worst of the stuff is in a skip I can imagine the house redecorated
*my nephew is a star in his playgroup tomorrow and because I am on leave I can watch it
*my Dad has just made me a Cuppa tea
*i have a friiij chocolate fudge brownie milkshake waiting to be devoured
rierie I found a brilliant Homer Simpson advent calender for MSB and asked him to get me one. Epic fail left it too late but my nephew had 4 4!!!!- so he has generously or completely unaware since he is only 2-- donated one to me. I got it on 5th December so of course had to play catch up Xmas Grin

AriesWithBellsOn · 08/12/2011 11:20

I would say "MSB and I are still alive" is a pretty good starting point Faithy. How are you feeling today?

SantasCave · 08/12/2011 11:40

Faithy hurrah indeed for being alive!

I feel, well, normal. Popping to the loo every half an hour like a loon to knicker check, but otherwise, normal Xmas Grin

AriesWithBellsOn · 08/12/2011 11:43

Cavey, search for "doing the cigar" in the BESH annals and see what's thrown up

HaveYourselfAFaithyChristmas · 08/12/2011 11:53

cavey any cramps? Xmas Hmm
I seem to be coping far too well today. I think I am a bit numb.perhaps a bit of denial...perhaps I've gone into coping mode because MSB fell apart yesterday. I'm just trying to go along with emotions as they happen. I am seeing positives in little things like after a second wash msb's work shirts and ties have washed ok and don't stink of smoke. That will make life easier for next week and save us a fortune, seriously there must be £150 worth shirts and tie and that's the half we didn't leave behind! yes spookily calm....

KatAndKit · 08/12/2011 12:06
SantasCave · 08/12/2011 12:09

Rie sounds like the kind of thing I should not google whilst at work!

Faithy cramps have gone away. They came back briefly last night, again leading me to think droid was imminent.

HaveYourselfAFaithyChristmas · 08/12/2011 12:21

But then from what I understand lots of people have cramps like that and think they are droidal only to get a BFP.
I searched for the cigar - you can search for it in MN search rather than google caveat - and yes I totally know that feeling when menkul awaiting the droid.

HaveYourselfAFaithyChristmas · 08/12/2011 12:36

heres lots more pictures of the house. We had to explain to my nephew Fireman Sam came to the house on Saturday and now Bob da Builder needs to come in and fix it!

maja15 · 08/12/2011 14:26

I know that AlpinePony mentioned this an age ago but...(you laydeez have been busy this morning). I agree with what you said about the bleeding. I've been feeling rotten to the core since mc last Friday. I woke up this morning feeling a bit better and the fact that I haven't seen any blood since last night has cheered me up now end. I have actually put some lipstick on, left the house and done some damage to my credit card at Boots.

It's not rocket science I guess. What I need now is some bonding, comforting sechs with DH, not to walk around wearing nappies.

maja15 · 08/12/2011 14:31

Jeez, faith - thank god you guys are ok...

LauraPalmerIsComingToTown · 08/12/2011 16:12

Oh sweet laydees, I fear I didn't give enough info in my last message...TOM and I have already had the Big conversation - thus some of my absence over the past week. It's just that last night's experience made it all quite real for me, hence the tears. He knows how I feel, and knows what I want, but he doesn't feel he's ready right now. In fact, if you all might remember, he wasn't ready when I started with the OPKs or when we got our BFP last month. He looked at it as a happy accident (that I basically orchestrated), but this did come after he was quite lovingly clear about not being ready (mentally, emotionally & financially) to try again.

He knows how I feel. He knows he's not ready to keep trying. I'm not angry with him because he's nothing but loving about it all.

We agreed that we would re-examine our situation in 6 months.

Oops, gotta run...shit...more later...personalised love shout-outs yet to come...

ps. I'm really grateful for the lot of you - you have become a really lovely Fred in the fabric of my life

I wanna get all BESHed up.

LauraPalmerIsComingToTown · 08/12/2011 16:17

And positives list to follow later, too. Thanks Rie Wink

SantasCave · 08/12/2011 16:32

Bugs boobs are doing nothing, but then again that is their default setting. I've never bern one for pre-droid boob ache-age so never expect them to.

I haven't done my positives list yet do here goes:

I am happily married to the most wonderful, kind and generous man

We are living in our almost-forever home

We both earn very good money and have no financial worries

We are both fit and healthy (my plumbing issues aside!)

I really enjoy my job and look forward to coming to work every day

I get to have weekly dance lessons with a top teacher and love every minute

I'm studying for a part-time degree that will help my future career

Our families are all healthy and well, if a tad annoying at times Xmas Wink

Think that's all for now!

eurochick · 08/12/2011 16:47

Hello ladies! This has been a busy day. It has taken me ages to catch up!

I have been out to B&Q (woo hoo) and to visit friend with a 2 week old baby. The baby visit was fine. Buying the gift to take was harder. We had cake and a nice chat.

I'm 10dpo here and not feeling much at all at the moment. My boobs are hurty but that's normal. Some months I get quite a lot of cramps in the second half of my cycle. My droid is due Sunday/Monday. I am hoping it holds out until Monday as we are away for the weekend and I would prefer not to do 6hrs of driving with stomach cramps and droid rage. Just in case, stay away from the A3/M25 on Sunday afternoon!

I would struggle to do the positives now. I'm doing ok, but on Monday/Tuesday will start our first medicated cycle which just seems to me like the first step on the road to IVF, which still scares me. And I have the winter blues (I am not good with the short days). So I'll skip it for now.

Itwasonastarrymole · 08/12/2011 16:47

faith I have just seen your pictures for first time, just horrid, I'm so sorry. in honour of your bravery in the face of adversity,I would like to award you some quality time with http://www.google.com/m/search?site=images&gl=uk&client=ms-android-h3g-gb&source=mog&hl=en&q=hugh+jackman&spell=1&ei=yebgTvilEMrujAf9GQ&ved=0CBQQvwUoAA#i=16 him
(i did look for niles crane, but I'm not sure he's what you need right now.

My good thing today is that my year sixes sang beautifully in our dress rehearsal today. (let's not focus on the rest shall we not)
and I made it home in time for BBB to go to his football do, so have won 64 Good Wife points.

Is anyone getting blown away? The huge inflatable tigger santa opposite looks very precarious.

Itwasonastarrymole · 08/12/2011 16:49

Bollocks to link fail, bloody phone, will try again.

NortheyPole · 08/12/2011 17:13

Ooh, cavey is late. Any funny tweaky twingey feelings in the pelvis? Or weird and vivid dreams?

Is there a special BESH tribal woo dance of hope that gets done, or anything?

NortheyPole · 08/12/2011 17:21

laura I don't know what to say other than that it sounds crap, but I suppose a teeny glimmer of comfort is that it's not forever, it's just a not yet sort of thing. Though of course that only means it's really shit rather than impossibly shit. And I really empathise with how upset you must have been at the moment of interruption. Have you agreed a time when you can review things?

AriesWithBellsOn · 08/12/2011 17:29

THat's ok Euro, dear...you don't have to be cheerful. Have a piece of cake?
