So, after almost turning myself inside out giving birth to DC1, we've decided to take the plunge and try for another. Thought this would be a good place to share excitement / terror / general state of knackeredness. Just watch your feet as you come in. I haven't had chance to tidy the lego away yet and you know how much it hurts when you stand on it.
Glass of Wine anyone?

Ooh very pleased your feeling lucky and I am getting my hopes very much up for you (feeling slightly weird that I'm hoping a practical stranger is getting well and truly laid!) but I'm gonna take that luck and swallow it faster then my folic acid Grin I think although I have no real clue that I may ovulate very soon and dates would suggest I should be also so I'm off to shave legs ect while dd is sleeping in the hopes of jumping the oh tonight and joining you up that stick (never heard that one b4) Grin

HerniaGranger · 08/08/2011 12:30

Tee hee!

I'm buffed and plucked and ready to be f.. Oh is that someone at the door?

Good luck!

Clandy · 08/08/2011 12:51

Haha I am so going to use that one on the oh tonight n see how far it gets me haha!!

Good luck and hope you find plenty of time to get your partner in a head lock til he agrees to doing 'it' (... Or is that just me???) Blush

Numberjacker · 08/08/2011 13:13

Thanks ladies,

Lumberjack how funny... Am now singing "I'm a numberjackxand I'm ok, I sleep all night and I work all day....". I bet I'm the only one old enough to remember Monty Python!

Loving the positivity. Clearly you must be ovulating if you're feeling lucky - am sure your hormones are telling you it's time to get dowwwwn to shag towwwwn. Thanks for sharing the luck, I'll grab it with both hands Smile

HerniaGranger · 08/08/2011 13:53

I'm definitely old enough to remember Monty Python. Fancy a sing song?

"Every sperm is sacred, every sperm is good..."

Got that tune stuck inside my head now. It'll still be there tonight when I'm trying to convince Mr Hernia of my potent female allure.

OP posts:
Numberjacker · 08/08/2011 14:05

If a sperm is wasted, God gets quite irate.

La la la .....

Clandy · 08/08/2011 17:33

Sorry I can't join in have no idea about Monty python I'm afraid but I'll hum along sounds like a good tune Smile

HerniaGranger · 08/08/2011 20:04

It's a cracker. Love Monty Python. Always had a bit of a thing for Michael Palin Wink

DH is in a grump and DS told me I've got stinky feet. Not feeling like such a sex siren now. Boooooo

OP posts:
Clandy · 09/08/2011 13:14

Haha might have to check it out!

Well unless you know of dome strange position I am oblivious to the your oh doesn't need to be any here near you feet.... An if we couldnt dtd when men were grumpy the population would end Grin just tell him to shut up and put out haha!

HerniaGranger · 09/08/2011 15:33

Hello ladies!

Hope you're all ok today. Any obsessive symptom checking to report? Awh, come one, you know you have.

OP posts:
HerniaGranger · 09/08/2011 15:34

I meant to type 'Awh come on, you know you have.'

OP posts:
Clandy · 09/08/2011 18:27

Totally Grin haha have had some funny tummy feelings today and some aching also loving the smell of cigarettes and as an avid none smoker (who craved the smell with dd) I am so getting my hopes up... Silly cos I don't even think my dates agree with this but never mind. What about you ???? Smile

HerniaGranger · 10/08/2011 11:35

What a depressing few days, eh? Really angry about moronic looters and their ilk. What do they want the public to do now? Say thanks and here's some respect because you've really earned it?

I'll stop there because I could rant on and on for hours. I haven't been affected but I'd gladly kick the arses of the little scum bags and their useless parents.

Clandy - V interesting and exciting symptoms. How are they today?

You ok, too, Numberjacker?

Think I've finished ovulation business for this month so I'm in the 2ww now. I'm trying to be casual about it but I know I'll be crazy lady next week.

OP posts:
Clandy · 10/08/2011 12:10

It's disgusting isn't it just watched some of the videos on the news makes me very cross! Lucky to be fairly out in the sticks up north so not effected but oh has been sent down to London (is a cop) so has put our baby making on hold Angry never mind fingers crossed it won't matter Smile

Hmmm fairly convinced its all in my head but still achy round the lower middle, but this could mean anythin (possibly sat around far too much on my behind over summer hols...!) with dd had horrid pains from ovulation, although was convinced i was dying as pregnancy was not planned Grin have no real clue when af supposed to arrive cos I have only been off the pill a few weeks n not had one yet. Any way this is turning into a rather long post Blush so apologies for the me me me!!

Hope the 2ww is bit a long and boring one I want details of all symptoms haha Smile

HerniaGranger · 10/08/2011 12:19

Sorry to hear DP has been packed off to London. Give the man a huge pat on the back from me when he arrives home. I was in Manchester yesterday and could just sense something was simmering in the background. Little scrotes grrrrrrr

When do you think you'll test?
Will def give blow-by-blow account of 2ww so brace yerself!
BTW,AF due 22 Aug

OP posts:
Clandy · 10/08/2011 12:29

Yeah it is a bit rubbish but on the plus side the riots seem to have died down now in London n he is enjoying the change of scenery Smile will give him some heavy petting erm.... Sorry patting!! Grin when he gets home.

Well one month from last af will be 24th august so depending on symptoms (real or made up) I suppose around then! What about you are you going to test early or wait til af shows or not??

HerniaGranger · 10/08/2011 15:27

Think I'll wait and see if AF pitches up or not. Well, I say that, but if I get sore, pointy boobs like last time I may crack open a test a bit earlier.

OP posts:
Numberjacker · 10/08/2011 18:30

Hello peeps!

Been mad busy at work, so have been radio-silent for a few days. I haven't been looting!! Bloody disgrace - nothing says "we want justice" more than robbing a flat screen TV, eh?
Hope your DH is ok, Clandy. You should be v proud.

Still got back pain, but don't want to get my hopes up, as had this last month and AF found me Sad am due next mon/tues but will hold off until Wed if I possibly can (laughs to self at the thought)

How are u guys this evening?

Numberjacker · 10/08/2011 18:35

Btw - my 2ww symptoms first time around were backache and sheer knackeredness at anything like climbing stairs (or getting out of bedWink). Seem to remember sore boobs too.

This week I have backache, feeling hot/flushed and some tummy cramps but def not sore boobs. Crikey its prob the menopause not pregnancy!!!!!

Clandy · 10/08/2011 19:39

Oooh some exciting symptoms going on!! I had no idea I was pregnant until I was around 7-8 weeks although I had many symptoms and was throwing up/generally dying practically the whole time so it's hard for me to compare what I am feeling now to what I felt last time. Although I am dreading the sickness so much so it took ALOT if convincing to agree to agree to be pregnant again (not to agree for a baby again tho) Smile perhaps the men could take a turn...?

Yeah he is fine thanks stopping a while longer tho Sad very proud of him and all the other police/civilians out there having to protect their homes/ cities from all those naffers!

Clandy · 10/08/2011 19:40

Also big fingers crossed that these are all symptoms and we all get our babies Grin ... On re-reading that could imply that I have big fingers.... I do not Blush well I hope I don't anyway Smile ha

HerniaGranger · 10/08/2011 19:52

Hi Numberjacker. Glad to see you. Pull up a bean bag and have a jammy dodger.

Only a few days to go 'til you find out one way or the other. I'm sure you're not menopausal. (You haven't started wearing polyester slacks and bunion-friendly shoes have you?)
I'm knocking on a bit too so I think we should celebrate our geriatricness. We are the tena ladies - hear us roar!

OP posts:
Numberjacker · 10/08/2011 19:52

You know what they say about big fingers.....................

Big gloves!

Numberjacker · 10/08/2011 19:54

A bean-bag? I'll never get up again..... Not with my back! Lol

twinklypearls · 10/08/2011 19:57

Can I join you all in between shags?

I am also feeling lucky this week and am convinced this is the week.
