So, after almost turning myself inside out giving birth to DC1, we've decided to take the plunge and try for another. Thought this would be a good place to share excitement / terror / general state of knackeredness. Just watch your feet as you come in. I haven't had chance to tidy the lego away yet and you know how much it hurts when you stand on it.
Glass of Wine anyone?

I didn't have nuchal fold and it was not mentioned so possibly depends on where you live I would bring it up with midwife as it may be one of those things you only get if you ask! How long until your appointment?

Sorry af arrived but good that you can start working out your cycles. Cant help on the fertility monitor as never used one.

Hi everyone....just wanted to say 'I am back in the game...for now anyway'! Herbalist sorted out my medication & ttc can commence. Didn't expect them to work so quickly! Grin

Thanks Clandy. I thought we had nuchal measured with DD, but looking back on my notes I kept, I can't see anything. I may have it mixed up with them measuring something else. Got booking appointment on Thursday so will ask then (told you I was impatient Wink

Hi again. posted a week or so ago then vanished!
Anyway af now 4 days late going by previous cycles testing in the morning but feel its just me settling down after pill. Plus I've bought my xmas booze today so a bit of reverse psychology on af won't do any harm!

Oooh Red, sounds promising. Good to hear things are starting to hot up again in ttc2 towers.
I have seen on other threads that reverse psychology works very well on BFPs, so fx for tomo.

Hi ladies.
Scan went fine today phew! I am due 1st july. The Sonographer asked if I wanted to watch on the screen but I said no and wouldn't look until she said well we have a live wire here! Then I burst into tears!
They did a very detailed scan at least ten mins and did the nuchal fold and blood tests too. Saw all the little arms and legs and fingers and watched baby swallowing and hiccuping and waving around. Then it went to sleep with it's arm up over it's head. Love at first sight!!

I did a test this morning and unsurprisingly it was bfn i'm 5 days late now and wish it would just get on with it so i can! this cold ain't helping!

Sorry it was a bfn purple Sad. If it is any consolation (and am sure it isn't) I believe Xmas booze is the best way to get rid of a cold. Wink

Not successful this month...didn't expect to be in all honesty....with the DUB etc. but AF arrived yesterday...great early Xmas present Angry & is worse than ever! Angry
I can now see why I didn't want to give up the pill to ttc but it's the only way.

Hello not posted in a while but had the best christmas gift this morning. Decided to POAS today before getting into the christmas booze and totally unexpected BFP!!!! No idea how pregnant I am as I still haven't had a period since stopping BF 2 months ago. Still can not believe it to be honest. And bit worried that I don't feel pregnant or any different at all. If all goes well then this time next year there will be another baby - yikes! Good luck everyone Grin
