I am 37, TTC1, Cycle 11, CD 30 Cycle approx 30-40 days length

More pregnancy announcements at work. Ho hum. Must smile and say congratulations and contribute to card and gift. Put up with questions like 'Will you have any? Oh well, plenty of time eh?' etc etc.

St4rfish · 23/06/2011 12:27

Hi all. We moved house last weekend and work has been manic, so have not had time to keep up to speed with events and find the new thread!

Congrats to all those with BFPs especially Late & Fingers, whose progress I have been cyber-stalking (in the nicest possible way!) I am hoping some of the luck will rub off onto me :) Am trying to stay positive about the fact that I am heading towards the 6 month mark fast with no joy yet - keep telling myself its early days and to be patient!

Right, have tried to update the list (you can tell I am work-avoiding today...) Hopefully I have got everyone in the right order and with the right CD day - we need some more stats from the newbies as well. Apologies for any errors or people I may have missed.

Forgot to add my ucl is 25/26 days. I am actually on CD27 today & have no idea whether I will get AF today or not! Had usual AF cramps a few days ago but nothing since. Last cycle I was convinced I would see a BFP because I had had cramping the whole 2ww & I don't usually get that but AF came as usual after 26 days. FX! Will keep you posted

JosieSmith1 · 23/06/2011 14:40

I'm staying on the not counting list for now thanks

I'm off work today and was yesterday as I've got a horrible virus/cold. Been to docs today and I've got a viral infection with a possible secondary bacterial infection and the infection has spread from my chest to my sinuses and is now along my teeth, which is incredibly painful! The whole left side of my face is killing me, my eye is sore and watering, and my teeth feel like they could explode at any moment, not good Sad so if I am upduffed, the chances of it surviving are minimal as I'm drugged up on antibiotics and co-codamol to try to manage the pain, which isn't working Sad

So I'm on the settee with a duvet waiting for DH to come home on his break at about 4 and make me something to eat bless him. Been to the toilet 5 times so far this morning (usually go 5 times in a whole day) and I'm knackered, which of course can only mean one thing (and is totally unrelated to the virus Grin)

Cloclo15 · 23/06/2011 16:30

Hi all,

Well done on updating the stats St4rfish - we haven't had those up for ages!

I just can't stop feeling sad at the moment. Obviously I've been upset before when AF arrived again, and I no longer feel hormonally mental like I did at the weekend, but I just feel very empty and sad generally that this hasn't gone as we hoped.

I know it's still early days compared to some, but it doesn't really help. Selfish I know! And the wait till our results is only 3 weeks but feels like ages and it feels like this cycle will just be wasted.

I know it doesn't help to be so down in the dumps, but I can't seem to stop myself right now :(

Anyway, moan over. I know there are a lot of people worse off than me, but if I can't vent here there is nowhere else!

coffeeandcream · 23/06/2011 17:58

Hello ladies - can I join?

I'm also TTC#1 - had my implant removed this week - OUCH! and waiting to hear back about my blood test for my rubella status before DH and I get down to the mummy-daddy-dance!

What do you all mean by stats? What does UCL and CD mean?

C&C

KikiRC · 23/06/2011 19:17

Hello, can I join you? I'm on my first cycle off the pill, doubtful anything could happen this month as not entirely sure if/ when I ovulated (though I suspect CD 13/14). BD CD7, then partner away for work things.

I'm 33, TTC no1, First cycle. Currently on CD 14. Don't yet know what my cycle length will be, as this is my first cycle off the pill for 2 and a half years.

Fingers crossed, everyone. X

JosieSmith1 · 23/06/2011 19:52

Welcome coffee and Kiki

Stats are which cycle you're onto, UCL is usual cycle length (not everyone knows their own cycle length as they can vary) and CD is cycle day i.e. what day of your cycle you're on

Cloclo sorry you're down in the dumps. It's my 12th cycle now and we're starting blood tests as soon as ERTD arrives this weekend. Although I have convinced myself that I am pg and have been holding my stomach (stealthily under the duvet) and I know it's bad for me as I'll be devestated when ERTD arrives, but you never know I suppose Grin so no doubt I'll feel like a pin cushion too soon and we can jointly wallow in Wine

coffeeandcream · 23/06/2011 20:10

In which case here are my stats:
Coffee&Cream (27) TTC1, Cycle 1, UCL?, CD1

Heres to SWI!!!

KikiRC · 23/06/2011 21:05

Good luck Coffee&cream!
I think I'm on 1DPO, so this is my first tww. But as I've just come of Dianette, anything could happen. Can't be sure I've ovulated, and my cycles could well be all over the place anyway for the next few months. Good luck with your blood tests. Are you planning to try this month if all goes well?
K x

coffeeandcream · 23/06/2011 21:31

Helli Kiki

Good luck with your attempts - like you, I don't expect to get my cycle back to normal for a while having been on hormonal contrception. My GP said best to wait for blood results before TTC so DH and I are impatiently waiting to get onto the bedroom action! I don't expect to conceive for a while yet - the GP told us to have fun trying!

brimfullofasha · 23/06/2011 21:34

Hello again, just wanted to come on and have a little moan. Sorry. It's coming up to my fertile period and both me and DH are ill. Neither of us are sleeping well and swi is the last thing we want to do! Spent lots of time with some beautiful babies at work this week which has been lovely but is fueling my obsession! I think I'll try and drag DH up for an early night tonight (instead of watching One Born Every Minute USA which is annoying me). But what I really want to do is go to sleep... only on cycle 5 so I know I should stop complaining but just in that kind of mood today Blush

TomboyWife · 23/06/2011 22:22

Josie sorry to hear you're ill. Sad Sounds like a nasty one too; I hope the lovely opiates are helping at least a bit.

Cloclo I think most people have periods of feeling down when TTC isn't going well. Nothing wrong with just being down for a while; hopefully it'll be cathartic and you'll feel better in a few days.

Welcome to all the (even more) new joiners. Gosh, we've got a nice little crowd again!

Well, I think I might have ovulated overnight on Monday. I know the WTF cycle is generally quite weird and unpredictable (hence the name), but I got the usual ov symptoms. If I'm right we've timed it well as SWI happened on Sunday, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

ilovetomatoes · 24/06/2011 07:38

Hi Ladies, I would love to join this thread! My stats

ilovetomatoes (32) TTC1 after MC 18 months ago (long story as to why we waited this long to try again). Very irregular cycle, anywhere between 33-48 days. Nightmare!!

Dollybird99 · 24/06/2011 08:23

Hello lovely ladies,
Would you mind if also joined this thread. Fairly new to this baby making lark and to MN!
Dollybird99 (35) TTC2 UCL 26 CD1 (AF came today). Now I think I got that all right but i'm not too familiar with all these acronyms...or the biology bit to be honest!!

ChantingAsISpeak · 24/06/2011 13:03

Hello newbies . I think this month is definitely going to be a practice one, as it looks like the key dates fell when OH was at the other end of the country to me! Even the strongest, most enthusiastic swimmers can't make it that far Grin.

ChantingAsISpeak · 24/06/2011 13:04

Feel free to slap me with a kipper if I go wobbly again!

ColleenEatsVeg · 24/06/2011 17:37

curse you CD49, still no af or BFP but think something is going to ruin the nice weekend. Might have to dig out charting info as I have no idea my ucl is floating between 35-40+, was lucky then it was averaging at 38 but have no idea when ov might be. Oh well we are going to enjoy a nice month of every other day ;)

coffeeandcream · 24/06/2011 17:56

Blood results are back - my rubella status is fine. SWI commences in earnest in about ... hmm, 30 minutes, the moment DH walks through the door Wink!

weimy · 24/06/2011 18:34

welcome newbies!

Meh to being ill josie :(

1sttimetryer · 24/06/2011 18:43

Im sorry but your going to have to let me scream arghhhh!!!! Sorry about that, hope you dont mind!!! Two more people announced their pregnancies on facebook today :( happy for them, but feel sad for myself! Ah wel, this month is going to be my month :) must be a lucky time for all my friends, thats more than 20 people in about 5 weeks announce their pregnant.feel better now i've had a good scream!!!

JosieSmith1 · 24/06/2011 19:32

God that's a lot of people 1sttimetryer! Neither wonder you want to scream! TTC is hard enough without it being rubbed in your face at the same time

Welcome to our newbies (waves)

Coffeeandcream good news about the rubella results, enjoy the swi Wink

I have noticed, and will tell the doc when we go, that when I ov from the right, I get a lot of indicators, such as pain, which suddenly stops, and mucous (won't go into details Grin which I've always assumed was indicating oving, but hardly any signs at all from the left side. Seeing as I'm always regular I assumed both sides were working fine so it might just be the way they are, or maybe one of them isn't working right (couldn't even begin to figure out which one Grin) Oh well, will find out soon enough I suppose - ERTD due tomorrow (bitting fingers anxiously emoticon)

JosieSmith1 · 24/06/2011 19:33

That should of course say biting fingers!
