1sttime wow, 20 people in 5 weeks? Sounds like it's catching. Maybe you should go over to their houses and sit next to them. Grin

In all seriousness, it sucks when everyone is up the duff but you. A lot of my friends are on their second, which is doubly unfair.

Well, the WTF cycle is WTFing away. I miscarried two weeks ago today. Three days after the miscarriage the doctors did a pg urine test that came out negative (though a blood test still showed hcg hanging around). Last night I did a urine test of my own, which was a faint positive. Eh?

JosieSmith1 · 24/06/2011 20:10

Hmmmm, can't really advise on that Tomboy but if I were you I'd be wary of celebrating. Sorry, can't really help but I hope you get answers soon

AllChange2011 · 24/06/2011 20:40

Hello :)

Just dipping my toe in the water so to speak! DH and I have decided to start TTC - in the same month as I resigned from work to be self employed! Sounds mad I know but there's a plan in there somewhere! Anyway came off Cerazette on which I had no AF at all :) but all back to normal now - forgot how uncomfortable AF was!

I'm trying not to get too excited as I know this is literally just the beginning so joining you guys is the first step - oh well and the book I bought the other day! Blush

Ok will try with the stats...

AllChange2011 (30) TTC#1, Cycle 1, UCL28, CD2

1sttimetryer · 24/06/2011 21:04

Maybe thats where im going wrong tomboy , ive been trying to avoid them all but maybe i should mingle with them, might rub off on me! dont remember so many people getting pregnant all at one time, typical it happening after i start ttc!
Aww poor you, hard enough with people getting pregnant, worse when their on their 2nd and your still trying for your first, i have a couple of friends already had 2, but i wasnt quite so baby obsessed when they had their 1st!
Having not been off the pill very long im unsure when i ov so hoping every other day for the whole time since AF will do the trick, prooving to be harder than i thought with approx a 48day cycle! Stil on track at the moment though, but only 18 days in!!!
Good luck and hoping you get a BFP very very soon.

TigerseyeMum · 24/06/2011 22:30

I am now on day 1 again :(

Ah well....

Have a good weekend SWIers.

TheNightNurse · 25/06/2011 04:15

Hey all, been trying to keep up with everything - it's pretty hard, there are quite a few of us!
So I think I'm on CD 30 now (it's 4am) so i'm enjoying that slightly twisted game of 'Am I, Aren't I?' 'OoOOh, I just might be'.

Of course I'm not - I've had all the symptoms, just no 'Flo' yet, iyswim.

Hate, HATE this!!!

cookiemoo · 25/06/2011 08:14

Wowee, it's been busy here!! Sorry for those where ertd has made an appearance and congrats on the bfp's!!!
I'm currently cd 24 and ertd is due on m

cookiemoo · 25/06/2011 08:15

Ahh damn phone!! Due Monday!!!

This is my third cycle of clomid so hoping we get a positive outcome otherwise I think it's a referral on... :(

TheNightNurse · 25/06/2011 08:39

AHA! Did someone say it was Day 30...? It's 08:30 and it's Day 1.

Here we go again...

[can of beer emoticon] I work nights!

Brownsauce83 · 25/06/2011 09:59

Hello Grin Can I join? I'm very new to all of this Mumsnetting business. We've only been ttc for a couple of weeks, I'm so pleased to find this thread - you all seem so lovely!

TomboyWife · 25/06/2011 10:25

Morning ladies,

And welcome to all the new new joiners! So many of us now, hooray! Grin

AllChange I've heard that you're very fertile when you first come off Cerazette. I was on it and loved the lack of AF (I bled very pathetically about once every 3 months), and I think we almost conceived on my first normal cycle after coming off.

Sorry to those whom AF has got. Sad

I popped over to the post-mc thread last night and discovered it's not unusual still to get BFPs two weeks after mc. I'll test again in a day or two and see if the line's weaker or gone (and if it's not, it's back to the doctor -- joy).

Cloclo15 · 25/06/2011 15:58

Hi all, CD8 here, and that boring bit of the cycle where nothing happens. I think we may even just do it (heaven forfend!) for fun later! I've kind of forgotten what that's like...

Still finding things a bit harder this cycle, feeling much more subdued and down than usual, but I suppose it comes in ups and downs and hope I will feel better soon. Even DH is feeling it a bit at the moment - he said someone had a 4 day old baby in the garden he was working in the other day and he felt a bit of a lump in his throat - bless him!

Anytime · 25/06/2011 17:48

Hello everyone, I'd like to join in please! It's our first month of trying, it is much awaited as I've had to wait for 4 months for drugs I've been taking for a problem I have with my muscles to come out of my system and about year and a half before that for my health to be stable to be able to stop taking them! I've had a look at this thread and other similar ones a few times before but felt a bit if a fake when I couldn't even try! For health reasons we need 'it' to happen quickly so fingers crossed! I have a fertility monitor and a thermometer and my husband is looking a little afraid at what machine I may produce next! :)

So stats are (Hope I get this right):

Anytime (34) TTC#1, Cycle 1, UCL 28-36, CD2

KikiRC · 25/06/2011 20:15

Hello again ladies,

Like I say, I'm new to all this- but checked my CP today (I think I'm 3DPO) and it was so high, I could hardly reach it! I don't ever remember this before, but as I was on the pill so long, I'm not sure if my body will be reacting differently to what I've been used to. Does your CP change during your cycle in the same way when on the pill, or it is more static, as you don't ovulate?

Not sure if CP being very high is just normal shortly after O, or could this be a possible pregnancy sign??

(I'm reading far too much into everything!)

X

JosieSmith1 · 25/06/2011 20:26

I'm not really sure Kiki sorry, I didn't even know you could check it before TTCing, or that it changed position etc Blush. Mine is very low and closed, which I'm obviously taking as a sign of pg but when I googled it it's not a reliable sign Sad I'm heading for a big fall this month, It's totally in my head that I'm pg. As it is, no signs of ERTD yet but I'm trying so so hard not to get my hopes up but it's difficult.

weimy · 25/06/2011 20:31

fx josie

I am throwing the towel in after this month.

JosieSmith1 · 25/06/2011 20:33

Oh Weimy, sorry to hear that. I know how you feel though, it seems so pointless sometimes, it's hard to stay motivated (hugs)

cookiemoo · 25/06/2011 21:04

weimy don't give up.
I know how you feel tho, after nearly 4 yrs off the pill. We just need to keep believing it will happen for us. Sending huge hugs your way. Xxx

KikiRC · 25/06/2011 21:15

Thanks, Josie. I know the feeling- every tiny thing I'm convinced is a sign- even though the chances this month must be absolutely minimal- and any symptoms I do have are probably just withdrawal from the pill.

Weimy, I've only very recently started looking into TTC and had no idea how obsessive and overwhelming that this process can be- and undoubtedly such a huge disappointment each month if it doesn't work out. It must be like experiencing a 'loss' every month for what could be- and a huge mental drain which must wear you down and impact you physically. I'm no expert at all, but taking a few months away from charting and focussing on it so strongly does seem like it might be a good idea (and doesn't stop you from still trying.) My aunt and a close family friend both conceived in their late thirties when they'd 'given up'. I don't know if it was something to do with relaxing a bit, but it can happen. FX it all works out.

X

JosieSmith1 · 25/06/2011 21:34

Good advice Kiki, it certainly does feel like a loss every time ERTD arrives, it's a wonder anyone can stay sane throughout the whole process

Hope you're ok Weimy

Cloclo15 · 25/06/2011 23:18

Don't give up Weimy - I know how you feel as I'm on the same cycle as you and have found this month particularly hard - it's the realisation that this really could take a year or more I think. I keep thinking to myself though that it'll be worth it in the end, even though it does feel especially soul destroying at the moment :(

ColleenEatsVeg · 26/06/2011 00:11

Hit CD50 here, wish me luck for answers cause I'm going batty. Two BFN this week and no AF but will pick up a test Monday before my doctors app (to talk about TTCing) and give it another go.

TigerseyeMum · 26/06/2011 09:28

Sorry you are feeling so flat Weimy, I am a bit down this time too as there seem to be pregnancies everywhere, and I have so many plans - what is the best school, best cot etc etc even though I am 'trying not to think about it' - babies and kids are everywhere and people keep talking to me about them, so it is so hard to just carry on and not give up.

Don't give up though. It can happen. It can

Readynow · 26/06/2011 09:37

AF got me yesterday! :( Onto day 1 again! Weimy try not to get disheartened. I was speaking to a couple of friends the other day & it can only be a matter of taking time for some people. She took 18 months to conceive DS1 but then went onto conceive DS2 pretty quickly. Another friend told me to make the most of not having DC whist we are trying because when you have one your hole life changes & you can not longer be spontaneous! Easy for others to say I know but it makes sense to me! FX for this month for everyone still awaiting the BFP

Readynow · 26/06/2011 09:39

I meant your whole life! I blame my fat fingers! :o
