Who's in?

OP posts:
thelittlefriend · 03/07/2011 19:01

my stupid body appears to be getting a period on cd19. I am desperately trying to tell myself it's implantation pain / spotting. But I really think it's my period. I don't know what it's playing at. I AM PREGNANT FFS, SO WHY DOESN'T MY BODY KNOW IT!?

havealittlefaithbaby · 03/07/2011 20:03

littlefriend how does it look (if you don't mind sharing)?

thelittlefriend · 03/07/2011 21:04

well, unfortunately have I bleed pretty much every day of the month (awaiting diagnosis as to why). Today it's heavier than normal but still not enough to need more than a panty liner. Dark brown with some red. It's the red blood and stomach cramps that are making me think it's my period. Sorry for loads TMI.

PaleHandsILoved · 03/07/2011 21:45

Oh, how frustrating, littlefriend. TTC is hard enough without body doing random insane things. I hope your doctor can help :(

maybebabyR · 03/07/2011 22:15

Little am feeling for you. Hope the doc gets this all sorted out

herethereandeverywhere · 04/07/2011 09:28

Hi all! Not sure if you remember me, been on hols for a fortnight! Firstly, congrats to the really, actually, upduffed people, espesh our lovely OP Aubergine! Secondly, commiserations to those having a rough time, be kind and gentle with yourself.

Today is CD20, after a marathon shagfest on hols the peestick finally smiled....yesterday.........! Grrrr, when we hadn't shagged for 2 days due to leaving hols/getting home and the being knackered that causes. Anyway, shagged last night and will tonight for good measure. Off to see Take That ce soir so that should get me in the mood (sort of!).

And obviously, I am resolutely, absolutely already pregnant and will be tempting fate just that little bit more this evening with plenty of booze and brie from the cheeseboard.

BlooferLady · 04/07/2011 09:47

Hello fellow blooming beauties! Remember me? I threw all the toys out of my pram actually AT people and then went away for a few days (to Norfolk and I LOVED it, all right? LOVED IT!) and am now back. I even did The Sex on a day slightly too early for ovulation. Oh dear me yes, such is the extent of my dedication I shag when strictly speaking there is no need Hmm. I am now just about to be fertile (well, apparently anyway ) so intend to essentially screw until my ears like spermal fluid. I hope that's all right with you all.

Hello here! Nice to see you! Nice to see everyone really. I will try and catch up but have New Offices where spending the day MNing is inexplicably frowned upon.

Sorry about your mid cycle spotting littlefriend. I know how frustrating that can be - I hope you get some answers soon.

BlooferLady · 04/07/2011 09:48

Until my ears LEAK spermal fluid.

A not-very-good joke ruined utterly, there! It's all in the delivery...

maybebabyR · 04/07/2011 09:57

Bloofer! Here! You are back! Glad lots of fun has been had on your respective hollibobs!

Bloofer I think it would be good to screw until your ears like sperm. That way you can be certain it's got where it's meant to be going. And beyond.

Here go for the booze tonight. Tipples this early on don't reach the baby anyway Smile

TigerseyeMum · 04/07/2011 11:00

Onwards and upwards. It will be a 3 week shagathon despite me being poorlified. This month will be the month. Oh yes.

allhailtheaubergine · 04/07/2011 11:05

My ears love spermal fluid. LOVE it.

OP posts:
Ariesgirl · 04/07/2011 11:43

I have heard of ears leaking cerebral fluid in the instance of a head injury. Go easy Bloofs

I am in the No Man's Land between periodical and fertility. I shall be away in London for days 8 and 9. do you think I should give Take That a miss and shag MrA instead? Or shall I get Gary to impregnate me?

TigerseyeMum · 04/07/2011 11:52

Are days 8 and 9 significant? I thought most ovved around day 14 or a bit later if you have a longish cycle?

Maybe I been doing it wrong Hmm

That would explain things.

BlooferLady · 04/07/2011 12:26

Has Gary got children and thus Proven Fertility?

Tigerseye (interestingly I am currently sporting an immense faceted tigers-eye ring!) I have a tres short cycle - 23 days this time, if you please! - and therefore apparently D9 would be a goer for moi. Not that it has help thus far mind you Hmm

thelittlefriend · 04/07/2011 12:29

Thanks for nice words people. I'm pretty sure it's my period now. A twenty day cycle!! Some kind of record maybe. I had to laugh at myself earlier when I held an opk and a hpt stick in a pot of wee. What a prat.

Anyway, in the spirit of this thread, I have already worked out that, as I will be pregnant this month, my baby will be due on the 9th April. Ahhhh.

Good to see you back bloofer and here.

PaleHandsILoved · 04/07/2011 12:30

God, I have just read the DoD thread on the worst bits of giving birth and have changed my mind about this whole baby business - obviously that means this will the month I am pregnant Grin. The Timing Couldn't Be Worse.

When do you normally ovulate, Aries? I would go and see TT but I don't ovulate until usually around day 18. Even if you're day 14-ish, would have through missing days 8 & 9 would be ok (unless, as Tigerseye says, I'm just doing it wrong!). You can't miss Take That, that's certain.

PaleHandsILoved · 04/07/2011 12:34

Oh yes, and welcome back Bloofer and Have. Littlefriend - hopefully AF will "reset" you if you see what I mean, just in time for getting pregnant this month. April is a nice month to be born, I think - you will have light nights for the early stages and it won't be too cold, plus when you back to work (assuming you do, and that you have a year off) it won't be in the depths of winter and so doubly awful.

TigerseyeMum · 04/07/2011 12:57

I am very vague about this whole ovulation thing, I bough APKs and a thermometer but am too lazy thus far to use them.

If I have a 32 day cycle I assume I ovv around the day 18 mark? As I am on day 10 it is all systems go for the next week or so.

But I may be wrong in that.

But as I said before, my libido goes from Driving Miss Daisy to Grand Theft Auto when I ovv, so that is usually a reliable sign Blush

allhailtheaubergine · 04/07/2011 13:38

Lol @ opk and hpt test in the same cup of wee Grin

Jebel · 04/07/2011 14:53

Hello all, and welcome back bloofs. Didn't I just choose the best week ever to be on holiday in the UK? Don't know why I don't live here but apparently it isn't like this all the time. Have indulged in much bacon (ok, that's nothing to do with being pg), soft cheeses, seafood, wine, wine, wine and am most certainly updiffed. Have also been surrounded by pg women for several days and I have heard it is contagious.

Having ov'd on CD9, the time for testing is coming around very quickly. DH is watching me like a hawk and preventing me buying any HPTs but am planning on sneaking out on Wednesday so I can buy some to confirm the inevitable.

maybebabyR · 04/07/2011 15:03

Glad you enjoyed your hols Jebel. It certainly isn't always like this in the UK, you certainly timed it right!

I always manage to sneak some tests past DH. Normally crack and tell him anyway though! When are you planning o confirm what we already know?!

PaleHandsILoved · 04/07/2011 18:26

Am contemplating testing tomorrow, at 8DPO Hmm. I have gone mad. Are you testing on Thursday, Jebel?

havealittlefaithbaby · 04/07/2011 18:45

pale you sit on those hands! It's not going to tell you anything! Could be a false bfn anyway!
Welcome back bloofer. Jebel, Glad you had a nice holibobs.
I am cd... 17, ?6dpo ?4dpo...it keeps changing it's mind! Doesn't matter, that rat got smacked good and proper...swi on cd 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16! Now just sit back and relax. I'm off on holiday on Saturday (off to Somerset), will be testing the last day of my holiday!

thelittlefriend · 04/07/2011 18:59

have, that's impressive. My rat is going to get the smacking of its life this month. I'm brooking no argument.

havealittlefaithbaby · 04/07/2011 19:12

Why thank you! We have concluded that is the most jiggy in one week since our honeymoon (bearing in mind we didn't do it til we got married!!). Excellent work littlefriend! Obviously this month the rat will be smacked in your house too!
