and congrats to anyone else on here who is up the duff

thisisyesterday · 29/06/2011 18:19

my best friend has been trying for 7 months to no avail, i will advise her that brooking no argument is definitely the way to go Grin

allhailtheaubergine · 29/06/2011 18:22

Oh Aries :( It's not a failure, I mean it's not your failure. It's just shitty bad luck. It's not fair. You have been quite positive enough and have utterly earned the right to be as pissed off about it all over this thread. I am sad on your behalf too.

allhailtheaubergine · 29/06/2011 18:24

Thank you ThisIsYesterday.

Meme - have you tested yet?

havealittlefaithbaby · 29/06/2011 19:32

(I meant first try of booking no argument but I got my words crossed! Sorry!)

thelittlefriend · 29/06/2011 19:45

allhail you're not about to desert us for a thread brooking no argument about a pain free labour in the pregnancy topic are you? Though we will of course all be joining you there shortly, I feel you are our mentor and lucky talisman. Don't leave!!

mememummy · 30/06/2011 03:52

Just tested bfn - pls wil Af come so i can work out my dates

farfallarocks · 30/06/2011 09:22

Yes please don't leave, I LOVE this thread and its keeping me sane!

I shall be brooking no argument this month, I tell ya, I still want a MARCH BABY

schobe · 30/06/2011 09:27

That's shit mememummy, I'm sorry.

I have now ovulated. HOWEVER we have messed this month up (was going to say cocked up before realising the irony) due to 'performance issues'.

I know, I know, there is always a chance but DH's sperm would have to live to about 150 in sperm years. We ought to work out a formula for that like for dogs .

I'll try and do a little Brooking No Argument over the next fortnight, but I'll focus on garnering reserves of No Nonsense for next month too.

Aubers - how is it going? Are you off the bench of denial yet?

schobe · 30/06/2011 09:29

Oh yes Love, LOL at glowering for half the cycle and beaming beatifically for half at people with bumps. It's so true.

maybebabyR · 30/06/2011 09:55

Sorry about bfn meme My first few cycles coming off contraception were a little messed up. Though you may just have ovulated late, so probably are preggers Smile

schobe you have just written my favourite new word. Garners. I shall now be seeing how many times I can slip this into a sentence Grin

How you feeling today aries? Better I hope.

I have just discovered (not that I am checking due dates) that I can't even have a March baby! I'm skipping straight to April. Damn these longer cycles!

TigerseyeMum · 30/06/2011 11:23

Yet another friend has just given birth. I am pleased for her but I could just cry.

She is lovely, is beautiful, sucessful, gorgeous....decided to have another baby, did the deed, got upduffed, breezed about for 9 months, gave birth. Ok so it wasn't quite that simple, but in all that time I have tried and tried and tried, and nuffink.

Really, I could cry.

But, it is almost ovulation time, so, you know...this month...

Sorry to those who are also getting crap news. This month could be the one. Really, it could.

PaleHandsILoved · 30/06/2011 11:38

LoveInAColdClimate here! Will be the month, tigereye, not could be! We Brook No Argument round here!

TigerseyeMum · 30/06/2011 11:48

OK, it will be. It can happen. So my child will be the year below my friends' children at school. That's OK, they can show them the ropes. It will work out.

PaleHandsILoved · 30/06/2011 12:58

So, preggos, where are we all cycle-wise (obviously other than Definitely Pregnant!)? I've totally lost track amongst all the optimism. I am on CD20, 3DPO, and, obviously, pregnant. Frankly, I'm amazed that morning sickness hasn't kicked in yet. I also have a hospital appointment on 3 August, so obviously that means I will get my BFP before that.

maybebabyR · 30/06/2011 13:16

Loving the new name Pale I am on CD11. Drumming fingers and twiddling thumbs waiting for the egg to hatch.

Am off sick though, waiting for doc's appointment. Pulling in lower tummy, constant weeing, headachey, hot and sick. Obviously VERY early pregnancy symptoms, not a UTI Grin

havealittlefaithbaby · 30/06/2011 13:24

Yes we are pregnant! I am cd13 also waiting for egg to hatch/temp to rise. DH has been very enthusiastic this month :) reckon its cos he's taking a vitamin e supplement! He asked if I was ovulating, oh trying to explain the science of I only know after its happened! He asked what we do if its not clear so I said "we keep shagging!" and (hallejuyah) unlike in the past where he has been somewhat reticent he essentially said same time tomorrow then?!
Latest I've ever ovulated before was cd13 and I had ewcm yesterday and dat before so I'm confident it'll be any day!

schobe · 30/06/2011 13:27

Pale I'm on CD21 so similar to you. Something like 4dpo.

thelittlefriend · 30/06/2011 13:28

well I'm on CD16. Don't know if I've ovulated yet, as there is no sign of EWCM and the opk's laugh at me. Giving it another couple of months before charting. Obviously won't need to as I'm pregnant this month. I've also ordered some pre-seed, which I obviously won't need either. Timing couldn't be worse.

PaleHandsILoved · 30/06/2011 17:50

Oh dear, maybe - I hope you're feeling a bit better now? Did you manage to get a doctor's appointment?

have - that made me laugh! We both managed to muster a bit more enthusiasm for the sexing this month, which was nice, as I hate it when it feels like a chore for either of us. It's so hard having to do it to order every month....

schobe - ooooh, we will have practically the same due date as we are both pregnant.

thelittlefriend - I am loving the Shag Dictator (CBFM) - maybe you could try that as an alternative to charting?

allhailtheaubergine · 30/06/2011 18:26

Goodness this thread is busy.

Bad luck on the bfn Meme - but with no af yet I'll leave you on the Still Pregnant list. As Maybe says you may have ovulated later than you thought.

Sympathies on the performance issues Schobe. I know that frustration too well. Fingers crossed for super-tenacious sperm who refuse to go home until the job is done.

An unfortunately unromantic ailment worked well for Pomme a couple of weeks ago Maybe so a potential UTI is definitely a positive sign.

I'm just about shuffling off the Bench of Disbelief and feeling pleasingly bilious. Am not leaving the thread just yet - there's still some rats I need to see smacked, the sneaky little buggers.

OP posts:
maybebabyR · 30/06/2011 19:05

Haha, Aubergine, you can never leave, you are our Guru, our Mentor!

Back from Docs. So, not a UTI. Have one of three ailments apparently. a) I'm ovulating. I doubt this some what, but I will have to smack the rat just in case, despite feeling shite. b) It's my uterus. What this means exactly, I am not sure. c) Appendicitis. I doubt this though. Si I basically have to rest for a few days and keep an eye on myself. Ah, I love the GP.

mememummy · 30/06/2011 19:18

Maybe- could it be implantation pain???

A lady at work last night casually booked er self in sat in the waiting room for an hour walked thru to majors to ask for a couple of paracetamol and casually had a baby... It was rather a surprise I was very Envy

I am not hopeful this month as I haven't got a clue if I ovulated I have no positive opk I have a lovely new shag dictator sat in a box next to my bed ready for next month any ideas on how to get Af? Is it to soon to see the gp?

mememummy · 30/06/2011 19:25

Is it possible to fake Af, I could sit on the sofa in my comfy pjs for a few days armed with chocolate dirty dancing and a hot water bottle?

maybebabyR · 30/06/2011 19:42

Oh, bless you meme It's horrible waiting. That story is amazing. Though you do realise that every month, I am now going to think about this story and pretend it could be happening to me!!

I am very confused. My last AF was 11 days ago, and literally lasted 36 hours. Wasn't heavy, but they never are. And I don't normally ov till CD21 Hmm
