Newly pregnant after miscarriage? Here is a nice place to hang out and swap symptoms and worries until you are brave enough to sign up to the grads thread.

Here is a link to the old thread: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/1165866-Freak-out-room-for-those-newly-updiffed-after-MC-to-hold-hands-and-support-each-other-Part-III/AllOnOnePage#24507574

Tunnocks I'm with you on the leaking and feeling like the baby's going to drop out feelings! I'm furiously doing my pelvic floor exercisies and am hoping that might help - I'll let you know!

Collie glad the service went well and you are feeling calm. Big hugs xxx

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 25/03/2011 14:04

collie glad you got through the service, maybe you'll feel better tomorrow. Re alcohol: I have tried saying I'm dieting, also given up for Lent but no one believed me. Driving worked though.

tigger your dr made me laugh

wombat I completely agree, the level of support on this and the other mc threads is amazing, I seriously would not have got through the last year without it. You're all lovely

larami welcome and congrats! I had a really faint shadow of a line last Friday, one week on and it's a lot stronger so by next Wednesday hopefully you will have started to believe it!

emoo and dachs wow, 12 weeks! Well done! Here's hoping the remaining 28 pass smoothly, quickly and happily xx

tunnocks thanks for the heroes sorry youre still feeling fragile, I always have increase cm when pg (lovely!) and I think the rest is unfortunately normal too! Hope you feel a bit calmer when your hectic day at work is over.

Thanks to mummya wombat and banana for reassurance re weight, I know once I get to about 20 wks I really pack it on so I'm trying to tell myself that one day I will look back fondly on this time!

mummya I hope you're not feeling too nauseous today sweetie, and banana I hope you're feeling a bit better

mamap if you're around, hope the move's going smoothly!

owl sounds like you've been giving yourself a hard time...it is so difficult managing all your feelings and fears but I think your approach re telling mws everything etc is really sensible. I have suffered from depression once before (thankfully never in conjunction with pg) and it is not fun. Much better to seek help sooner rather than later if you need it.

So, my sister hasn't rung but did text back to say congrats. I replied to say thanks and that I just wished she had the same news to tell me. Sometimes life is really unfair. But anyway at least I've told her which has to be better than everyone hiding it from her.

Hi all,

I dropped off for a while as was freaking myself out far too much, but have been lurking.

Dachs -just wanted to say , I had some cramping and some bleeding last week, told to sit tight until 12 week scan which was a horrendous wait, but found out both babies doing very well and bleeding due to low lie placenta which is apparently very common in twin pregnancies. Best of luck for your scan Smile

And velvet - how are you feeling? have you had any more dizzy/fainting spells and did you manage to talk your way out of it at work? Hope you're ok x

DoubleDiffedDachs · 25/03/2011 14:50

Happy Birthday izzy Grin

thanks silver - the mentalling is hard but hopefully it will all be ok. I've been driving myself barmy so I've actually booked a scan for tomorrow to make sure it's all still ok, as I can't face an entire weekend still stressing (especially since DH is out all day tomorrow at a cookery course which I got him for Christmas, so I'll be on my own all day and it will be impossible not to completely stress myself out)

We had lunch with the auditors yesterday after we announced our results to the City and I was sitting next to the senior manager. I asked her about whether she had any holidays booked this year, and she said no - she is going on maternity leave in August. I said nobody knows yet so keep quiet but me too, and then I said I was having two. It turns out that she is also having two and her due date is 4 days before mine. How weird is that?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

DoubleDiffedDachs · 25/03/2011 14:51

oh, and she's having hers at the hospital where they film obem - but is not going to have a starring role Wink

tiggersreturn · 25/03/2011 15:03

Very weird Dachs. I promise I'm not her Smile

Hi Silver - another twin one here. How far along are you now?

nickstermum · 25/03/2011 15:29

Happy birthday Izzy :)

Teacake - the vivid dreams are a good sign,... its just your subconscious.
I had the MC dreams til about 2 weeks ago - recurrent. Waking up and shooting to the loo to check for blood... very vivid... ! dont know how to stop them... they will stop naturally as you relax xxxx

Very funny MummyA.

Great to have so many double differs on here, although the term twins has been bandied around me by two separate ladies now. I'm now finding it not so funny! I'm just hoping my ever expanding tum is due to the fact I'm consuming my body weight in food daily (no list today though Wink)

Izzy Happy birthday to ya! I'm on a girls night out tonight so will raise my glass of G&T lime & soda in honour (I'm 35 too, scary to think we've been left school 20 years next year :() ((hugs for your sis))

Collie Glad you got through the service ok. Hope the after service was comforing too

Tunnocks my DD twin. Scary things a happening. I too am getting lots of CM, feeling very much like a snail & prompting lots of knicker checking Confused

Nix what news do you have you little tease?!?! Grin

Waves to everyone else. I'm off to get ready as it's an early one!

katherine2008 · 25/03/2011 17:52

Happy Birthday Izzy have a brillo evening

nickstermum · 25/03/2011 18:11

to those bookface stalkers its on there... have outed myself on there... YIKES!

  1. tentative new job offer for Hubs :) which is the best news yet as he has been out of work for a while. And its a fantastic job for a fantastic company... meaning poss relocation to the south coast... YIKES! Confirmation meeting with them on monday. (now do you understand why last year was particularly rubbish, lost job then lost baby i was damnnnned sure i wasnt going to lose the house too - hence the FT return to work - didnt feel i could really tell anyone on here about it at the time - (hence the skint-ness!)

  2. all clear scan which you know about :))))))

  3. and i got a call from work on wednesday to inform me of a very nice brucey year end bonus which i didnt know anything about - so all in all todays news about Job just rounded it off!!

See not really interesting after all...... but life changing for me Grin Grin Grin

PinkFondantFancy · 25/03/2011 18:32

Hello all!

Hahaha izz I've had "whole new world" going round my head all day!!!! Grin hope you have a very happy birthday, what are you doing to celebrate? I'm glad you managed to get hold of your sister. It really is very unfair she's having such a rubbish time, but try to remember that it's not your fault. Fingers crossed for her that it's her telling you good news v v v soon.

I'm glad things went as well as they could today collie. what drinking cover story did you go with in the end and did people buy it?? I tried the 'health kick' excuse but I think the accompanying smirk gave things away Grin

wombat and tunnocks I'm doing occasional pelvic floors when I think about it too. The turning into a snail thing is still freaking me out and end up running to the toilets to check for blood Confused

Welcome larami and congratulations! Do you have a digital test to hand? It is a bit more convincing to have it literally spelled out. Hope you manage to have a chilled weekend, we all know how scary it is though.

mamap hope everything went well today! Sooo exciting!!!

silver glad to hear everything's ok, you must have been going out of your mind waiting for the 12 week scan you poor thing :( it is v cool that there's so many double differs around here!!!

dacha having an earlier scan is a brilliant idea-I've done that a few times too.

Oi nix how long are you going to keep us in suspense????? Grin

mummya that link is hilarious!!!

owly sounds like you're having a tough time (((hugs))) I think it is very hard to bond with something so abstract though. I had a theory for a while that whenever I went for a scan they put in a DVD of a scan of a baby of the appropriate age..... Everyone says I'm mental but it could easily have been that because it feels so unreal.

banana sorry you're ill, hopefully you'll get a good night's sleep tonight. Yep leaking is normal-go for a panty liner to save your pants from greasy snail trails or, my personal favourite, shove them up your bum instead... Grin and before I get a reputation around here, it wasn't through personal preference that i discovered this is better but because I got such bad cystitis from putting it into my fanjo.... Grin

wombat I feel the same! I so wish I could call round for a real cup of tea and a biccie with you lot every day. Really hope I meet people as nice at antenatal class.

emoo I agree that the dates look iffy-I think it's mine that's screwing it up as my DD keeps moving a day either way but I'm still counting Mondays as the day the weeks tick over IYSWIM.

onions I'm afraid I am too ashamed to join the food lists!!! Are you in a darts team? I used to play darts too! Looooved it when our ladies team beat the men :) we were usually rubbish but pulled our fingers out for the beer leg and always won that!! Grin

PinkFondantFancy · 25/03/2011 18:33

nickers crossed posts-that's fantastic!!!! Where on the south coast? Will you need a new job too then? Xx
