Hi ladies,
thanks for all the good luck wishes, I am feeling quite nervous now I think for me this is the "safe zone" scan, as the baby died right around the time when the placenta took over last time. I feel 50/50 confident/scared. Unlike many people on here, I know what caused my mc. Scar tissue in the fundus of the uterus prevented the placenta from attaching properly. I am confident because I know that I went to the best possible surgeon and had it removed and had tests to prove it, but also nervous because the embryo is implanted in the exact same position in the fundus and so may have implanted on damaged basal layer of the endometrium. (greater risk of mc/placenta accreta)
I am getting scanned in the afternoon, so due to time zone differences you will probably log on tomorrow and see the news. (or late at night, but I think all of us are in bed by 8.30pm these days!)
banana good luck to you too. Hope you keeping your cool better than me.
wombat good luck at the hospital, hope they give you lots of reassurance.

knitter praying that you get good news today. xxx
LaraMi totally normal, good symptom in fact.
collie huge sympathies for the sickness. I know exactly how you feel (though thankfully not at this minute, my symptoms have eased massively) Just take it one day (or one meal!) at a time. Have you asked your GP about anit nausea/anti sickness meds?
campers beware of needing to pee all the time! By 6 months I found it really hard to hold in wee for longer than about 45mins! If I went camping (unlikey
), I would would take one of DS's potties with me!
I went on beach trips quite a few times in the 2nd trimester with DS, it was loads of fun but I scared all the locals by cycling around everywhere - pregnant women arent supposed to cycle in Costa Rica apparently! If you go on holiday while you are pregnant you will have lots of lovely memories for a long time after, go for it!
