Does anyone else have a wrapping paper "theme" for each person and then change their mind and re-wrap everything?

The thing is, I usually buy Shit Presents, so I hope that the fact that they are wrapped like precious relics will distract people from this fact

SixtyFootDoll · 16/12/2009 20:46

Crikey
I hate, hate wrapping presents.
No themes here, they are lucky if the edges meet when I wrap!

DecorHate · 16/12/2009 20:46

Sorry that was to MP - your friend is mad too Willie!

I have 3 different wrapping papers for each DD saves on tags too.

SantaClausImWorthIt · 16/12/2009 20:47

Having said that, I do have a theme this year. I am Mrs Smug of South West London, as I have bought recycled/recyclable wrapping paper, which I had to buy online.

Did you know that wrapping paper that you buy in the shops is not recyclable?

Ooh willie I've got that paper.

Got it for half price last week.

Tis vvvv tasteful

NorbertDentressAngel · 16/12/2009 20:51

MP, are you Kirsty?

If not, did you watch her last week?

She used ribbon and glass beads that cost more than the item inside to decorate the gifts .

But in answer to your question...no, I don't.

StrictlyBoogying · 16/12/2009 20:52

I do themes but don't change my mind and re-wrap. I love wrapping...I might even glue gun on some cinnamon sticks and fake berries.

Wallace · 16/12/2009 20:53

No But actually sort of yes because each person only has one present.

Mincepiedermama · 16/12/2009 20:54

Yes MP. Of course we all have a theme for each person. And I'm sure we all regularly re-wrap presents, don't we ladies.

It'll all be fine now MP. Just step this way into the lovely van here. It's going to be OK.

Longtinsellyjosie · 16/12/2009 20:57

Children get the bright stuff. Grownups get the boring one I had to get in order to make it up to 3 for 2. And that's as far as it goes...

Santa has a theme for each DC, it stops the fighting over which present fell out of which stocking.

And I do buy co-ordinating papers (this year's Lidl offering of red & white & reindeer lest you think I am being poncy) for all the wrapped gifts under tree. I do shove other people's offerings to the back if they don't match
