This is for the all year round bargains for any special occasion especially Christmas!

Any suggestions how best to get a first sylvanian family set? My DD will be 4 in September and these strike me as something she would absolutely LOVE especially if its babies. Im always mindful of how tiny they pieces are though. Are there retailers that commonly offer discounts or am I best trying vinted? (and yes I'm thinking months ahead but 3 kids here and a part timer so every penny counts....!!) Thanks so much 😀

I've just found a great deal for Rituals diffusers on Look Fantastic. A set of 2 of the 250ml size for £24.76 down from £61.90.
I was gifted a set with a 70ml one for Christmas and it smells lovely. I think they make lovely gifts. The green duo are on sale too but I can't vouch for the fragrance of them.

Thank you so much for this. The green one is jing which I have in my bedroom at the moment. I find it very peaceful. I’ve taken a risk on Sakura as I’m not sure if I’ve smelt it before but it’s such a bargain price and I do typically like everything rituals does.

Usually gets me another few quid off. Although I don’t think it stacks with any other code that might be on the website.

Facebook marketplace. My DD is nearly 4 and I got her the big mansion house for like £20 in the summer when it’s worth about £80! She loves it. There is so much of it available 2nd hand I never buy it new, except 1 set for her stocking but that was in the sale

@MaybeItsTimeForMeNow I would second the second hand idea partially for the house and furniture. For a family pop a few you like in your amazon basket if you have a few months as they do occasionally drop in price.

At Christmas sainsburys often have a small house- we got it reduced to £7.50 once after the sale (the Christmas toy sale is in October I think).

Set up a watch on hduk and you csn get an email about any deals people spot.

We got a huge house (worth £80 new) plus loads of furniture a few weeks ago I a charity shop for £7. Keep your eyes peeled.

Just a heads up - I went into our local one today and prices were quite a lot lower on some things than the website.

Sainsbury’s still reducing Christmas food and other bits. Found fancy chutney for 18p, date is mid 2027. Some seem to have Lynx gift sets still and reduced Lego.

Out in the real world today Morrisons had lots of houseware bits reduced , my favourites were the blankets which had been £6 to £1.80 each . Various designs in mine included a bear one , cocker spaniel type dog , woodland animals and toadstools , also a bright pink one which I think was £2 . Cute squirrel tea light holder , toadstool voltive glass holder 90p from memory. Apologies, should have taken some pictures , but worth a look if you are passing .

Sadly we don't have one near us but just to say that for those can afford to buy a blanket or two your local foodbank might well appreciate them. At the moment mine is giving them out along with hot water bottles where needed to help people struggling with heating bills.
