My local big tesco had lots of half price toys yesterday. I got several different Mr Beast toys all half price, and some Gross Minis half price. Worth a check of the toy aisle if you're in there anyway shopping. I almost didn't bother with that aisle but I'm glad I did.

I noticed some Lego sets the other day in our local Sainsbury’s that were reduced.

it’s worth checking out the sale items in Sainsbury’s as I noticed the other day they’d put out a load of reef diffusers. I’d previously bought the only one they had a couple of weeks ago and wanted to get another one for a friend and suddenly they’d put a load more out on the shelf.

@Moonnstarz - I recommend joining the ROKA lucky dip thread where people will post about what they get. It got quite ‘lively’ on there last year😹

I did a few LDs last year and had to contact CS twice re: faulty goods. Both times they were brilliant, but it does depend on who you get.

You can return the bags if you don’t like them, but last year it was a bit of a faff - you had to tell them you wanted to return, then they sold you a postage label rather than just giving everyone the same one. Most people either just learned to love whatever weird colour they had got, or swapped with another MN user or sold it on eBay or Vinted.

I ended up with a lilac Trafalgar tote, which I loathed on sight. However, I sucked it up and it’s the best work bag ever! (Still lilac, though 🙀)

Just picked up these storyphones headphones from my local Argos for £25 looks like they are £80-£90 on curry’s/amazon etc they have loads of the discs on sale too but only a few in stock at my local Argos hoping they will be useful for longer car journeys for DD ETA
