I’m off to WHSmiths ( TJ Jones now I think ) tomorrow to check their sale prices , I saw a post elsewhere to say they had some big reductions, will update if I find anything of note.

Yay! I lurk on these threads all year but rarely post. Hopefully I’ll have some bargains to share this year. I got some wrapping paper in Asda this week - 35p a roll. Also found Christmas pyjamas to put away for the kids for £1.50 each. I’ve been buying unwanted gift sets and candles from Vinted to put in my gift drawer - not for anyone in particular, but for gift emergencies and general “thank you” type gifts. I do think you have to be careful with candles, though, as they lose their scent if they sit too long.

Yay! Although I’m skint until payday at the end of the month so hoping I don’t miss any amazing bargains!

I posted earlier about M&S having amazing bargains on PJs and basically everything in the sale reduced by 70% - though do watch out: I bought some Xmas wrap and Xmas cards that scanned at £3 and £3.40 (for 8) - so if they were reduced, not by much! Not sure if this was a fault in-store, but I expected them to be heavily reduced as they were the last few.

John Lewis have some more reductions. This Elizabeth Scarlett pouch is done to £17 but it’s delivery only which is £4.50

Not going to lie it's very scary here atm!

I have to shop for our PTA “secret shop” if anyone has any bargains finds for £2 or under…the more under the better…., I’d be ever so grateful!

Harvey Nics have some Sol de Janeiro gift sets at half price which may be suitable for some early teen girls. Even with delivery at £4.50 they've cheaper than I've seen elsewhere - plus cashback via TCB.

You might have to hunt in-store for it but my local B&M had a "convert your dining table into a ping-pong table" net and bat set for £2 (down from £4).

Boots is at 50% off atm but will shortly be 70% if previous years are anything to go by.

Times are about to be very tough for the next four years.
DH has went back to uni to do his masters and I’ve lost my part-time job.
Christmas just gone was okay as I bought quite a lot while we both still had wages coming in but the next four christmases will require careful planning and many bargains.
