TKMaxx had reduced their luxury Christmas crackers further in their final clearance section at lunchtime today. They are now £2.50/£3/£4. Also cruised my local Boots who still had plenty of stock at 50% off. Guessing people are waiting for the 70% off sale whenever that is.

How odd. @psuedocream3 posted above that the 80% off sale had started in her local Boots, and I found a few Christmas gifts online at 80% off, too.

Perhaps your store just hasn’t got round to changing the signs, and if you take things to the till you’ll get a bargain?

My Boots store was still at 50% off when I went yesterday as well. Loads of stock left, but I'm holding out for 70%!

If you click on sale, quite a bit of that is 60% - 70% off. I filter for “hide out of stock items. Some is still reduced by 50% or less.

I took some sale items to the till at Boots to check if they were further reduced, but no -it was all still just 50% off. I got some great stuff in Boots last year and I am sure that it was all reduced to 70% plus by now.

I keep reading about the wonderful bargains that some people have found, but there have been none to be found in the supermarkets or shops round my way 😿 Unlike previous years, I haven’t really found any bargains post-Xmas anywhere, (unless you count the 27p mince pies I scored in Asda!)

Thanks for the Boots sale, ive just ordered the soap and glory tins for £5 each for staff presents. Not until July obviously but I like to be organised and save some money!

oh wise mn’s not Xmas related but my friends 40th is coming up and I am stuck on what to get her, she doesn’t have loads of interests but does love Disney and we do Pilates together as well I did find some
super cute Disney Pandora earrings but they were about £80 (unless anyone has any discount codes) I want it to be something a bit more meaningful with it being her 40th but also on a budget ideally £30 maybe £40 at a push thank you all so much in advance 💜💜💜

Just ordered the Soap & Glory showstopper set (the large one which was £62) for £20 from Boots! I dithered over it at £30 in store but at this even more reduced price it was a no-brainer! It's not a gift, I use most of the stuff already and even better I had enough points to cover it.

I was tempted by this as well for myself! But ive already got one 🙈

Random bit of information: Soap and Glory is a Boots own-brand, as is Liz Earle. (The Liz Earle in-store rep told me that, and said it means they get the No 7 research.)

@AlohaRosethanks for Soap&Glory tip. I’m funny about many fragrances but I find this stuff smells really nice.

I’ve just been in heron foods - forest hall. They have a Guinness can/hat set for £2. Some alcohol ‘crackers’ for £3 approx and I got a card game- for 50p (chunky, well made box) which will work as a stocking filler. Pic attached

The Works have some of the ‘clever kids’ puzzle books for just £2 which is great. They also had some other ones in my local store which aren’t online but a great deal! Usually I’m a bit ‘they’re alright’ about the ones they have in there, but they’ve actually got a few nice ones in there.

They had a few books for £1, I got the first book in the Princess Swap series for one of DC’s birthday - if it’s a hit I will have to buy the others for Xmas. Unfortunately they didn’t have any more of the series in!

I did get two Christmas Wordsearch books for £1 each too, very thick and most weren’t even Christmas related so hopefully enjoyed year round. Perfect for my nephews who will be 7&8 come Christmas ‘26, will likely gift with a notebook and gel pens.
