Got some bargains in Dunelm today. I needed brushed cotton sheets, & were half price. There was lots at 50% off, including Christmas bedding.

I must admit, having now sampled a range of their cheeses through the bargainous advent calendar, I would steer clear of mystery boxes. Some of the flavours were so plastic tasting, almost unpleasant. I would order their vintage cheddar again, and for those who do like a novelty flavour, maybe the Mexican chilli was ok.

Although, I should say, I think the bargains themselves were good so if you like them, my view shouldn’t stop you!

It’s very helpful to get feedback like that.

I one of their hampers some time ago. I wasn’t able to eat the cheese in my selection as it all contained a preservative I’m sensitive too. DH ate it all cheerfully, though, and seemed happy to do so.

Nikura have a clearance sale on at the moment for anyone who got a diffuser this Christmas/is giving one soon as a birthday gift or would just generally like to stock up (they will work with other brand diffusers as well as Nikura’s own one). Some Christmas themed but quite a few not.

The M&S website says its sale ends today.

There are some significant savings, for instance this wooden coffee table for (roughly) £60 instead of £200. The site can be very annoying and things are going into and out of stock all the time.

Hint: if you click on something, eg an article of clothing, and all colours seem to be out of stock, try then clicking on the various length options (if there are any) and sometimes something then shows as available. Sometimes nothing is, though.

I like the M&S x Bella Freud ‘Kind’ cashmere jumper, but the only available size is the moment is extra small, and I’m not. 😉

It might be worth looking in stores this week as the sale might contain there.

Edit: there are some Bella Freud children’s jumpers still available, which might be good presents for next Christmas.

Festive 12 piece dinner sets in Asda for £7 and tableware items also massively reduced. I picked up some very cute gingerbread men highball glasses for just 23p each. Cant see online, must be in-stores only.

Popped into Mountain Warehouse and got some reduced gloves and a hat for DH who loses these with alarming regularity! Not much else in there - at least nothing ‘cheap’!

What is the deal with Moonpig charging delivery for each item? Trying to send 3 mugs to the same address and it wants to charge me £4.99 delivery for each mug!

I just visited Coop and they had gingerbread Oreo’s for 2p and Xmas puddings for 3p.

This magical creature Not Lego set is £10 again.
i bought it for Xmas at that price and it’s so good for the money. My Lego loving 9yo smashed through it - instructions were clear and it looks really nice. It was missing one connector for a wing feather but she just poked it in without.

Popped into Asda and they were selling super snuggly duvet sets cheap. No obvious signs of discount ie red stickers but sale price on the shelf. I picked up a double for £6:25 but it’s showing as £18 on website. In store single was £5 and I think king size was £6:50. Might be good to put away for next Christmas. I know my daughter will love hers for the next couple of months .
