Has anyone who has tried the Hearst magazines offer received the John Lewis voucher yet? I’m tempted, but it seems too good to be true and I was wondering if it wouldn’t actually come until after the next payment.

@Notmynameactually when I looked the voucher was only for yearly subscriptions paid in advance, not the monthly subscriptions.

Just popped to our local Tesco Express and found soft fleecy Christmas Socks down to 4p (yes you read that right and no it's not a typo! ). They also had conventional ie not fluffy socks with Santas on them for £1 each.

Guess what everyone in my household will be getting in their stockings next year? 😊

I managed to get some purple soda cups with straws reduced to 10p in B&M. Going to put a hand cream and some sweets inside and give them as teacher gifts at the end of next term! They also had Christmas books down to 25p and a hardback Disney Princess book for £1 (not Christmas themed).
I also got some things to put away for birthday parties last week (kids seem to get invited to loads): sets with a colour-your-own bag, a drink bottle, some markers and a pencil case for £3 each, a Frozen canvas thing with jewels to stick on for £1, and a mini one of those strength test games you see in arcades for £3.

People thinking about cashmere gloves but who don’t find the fingerless ones warm enough might consider these cashmere gloves which are currently £19.50 at John Lewis.

The lilac and pale pink ones can be ordered online as normal. The berry, lime green and khaki ones have to be ordered from a store so cost an additional £4:95 in postage. They seem to be in stock in several stores so might be worth visiting if you live nearby.

The other colours are full price, so £39, and the reviews are pretty good.

Thought this Palm Pal was cute. Not as cheap as the Hot Chocolate and Christmas Tree ones last month, but still half price. Ideal for stocking or tree present maybe?

My hot chocolate palm pal arrived this week after ordering weeks ago (knew it was a long delivery date but it's for Xmas!) Still waiting on the tree. They are so cute.
