I’m after help please. Looking for bargainous ideas for 16th birthday presents for my daughter. Not jewellery. She’s into skincare, hair care, anything aesthetic looking, loves her bedroom and satin pyjamas

My DD also turning 16 and she wants the Victoria secret robe - pink and white striped fluffy one. They're £50 but you can get 10% off for new customers.

If she's in to skincare maybe a beauty box from Next or Boots? I think both have outer wrappers which can be removed, so if it says "thank you box" or whatever you can remove that.

I would also recommend an introduction to K- beauty if she hasn't discovered it already. Boots have a little starter set for £19.00 which is really good.

On the bedroom front, I've just bought this giant pillow from Costco and it's my favourite thing ever for lounging in bed. Its really soft and comfy 😊

Just to add, with the Boots boxes use the filter to hide out of stock boxes, as some aren't available - like the big K-beauty box, which was a fantastic one!

The very last dregs of Xmas 70% off were in my local Boots today. It looked as if they were getting ready to clear it, so if anyone still wants stuff, I would go asap.

My local had tons of Pantone branded stuff, the Paul Smith gift sets and the FIFA bottle and toiletries box and very little else.

The Paul Smith spray smells quite nice, so I got some of the EDT for me.

Jasper Conran is having a closing down sale for its women's wear - some heavily discounted leather goods on the website.

That's a shame. I got my lovely dress from a wedding there last year, & also bought a leather bag for my sister's significant birthday, which is just beautiful. Highly recommend if anyone is in spending mode.

There were a few 90% off Christmas clearance items left in my local Boots store today.

LKBennet also closing down and in theory have a clearance on their site - but it’s only 20% off at the moment which means it’s still very overpriced IMO (but I did buy a handbag).

My local boots had 90% today as well. I picked up a nice Ted Baker set for £1.25 with a spray, lotion and bath fizzer in. And a Paul smith spray and sports socks for the same price.

I popped into Boots today hoping to get some more of the nice body spray and perfume. Unfortunately all the shelves had been cleared, (although the 90% signs had been put up on the relevant sections since yesterday pm).

Staff were dismantling the displays when I got there just after 2pm and all that was left were some purple Xmas balls with a powder puff inside. I bought one for £1 just to say I had got something.

There was quite a lot of stock left yesterday, just before closing, so I am unclear if hordes of would-be eBay sellers had descended on my local at 9am and/or the staff had bought everything themselves and/or there had been far more people bargain hunting on a Monday morning than usual.

Either way - it was weird and a bit disappointing. Last year, the 90% offer hung around for a few days AND there was quite a lot of stuff available. Given that I really like the spray I got yesterday at 70%, I am wondering if it would be worth visiting another Boots tomorrow, or whether they will also have cleared away/sold everything today.

Absolutely nothing in my boots when I got there today (although it wasn’t until 3pm). There was quite a bit of stuff the other day at 70% but nothing I really wanted so I don’t feel I missed out. However I know that if there had been stuff I would have made purchases! I did quite well in the 50% so happy with that.

Haul has 60% off but is that everything or select items only?

I went to a larger Boots today- there were a few boxes of bath bombs and Bluey hot chocolate powders £1 each with the 90% off plus a lot of empty/half empty boxes where people had stolen the contents 🙀

I bought one of each of the bath bombs and hot chocolate powder and a superman face mask 🤣 (45p!)

I bought one of the Caroline Gardner face masks, even though the sleep mist had been stolen and Boots wouldn’t reduce it further. I thought it was cute and still worth £1.80.
