Baker Ross has a sale on. I've just ordered a few craft bits fot DD including Xmas and Easter crafts. I've also ordered a few of their craft it boxes for party gifts - all sorts of themes (pirates, mermaids, monsters, cars, farm ect.). They do charge delivery but new customers get £5 off and free delivery.

@Ughy she's only 2 so it's not that serious, anything with a fairy/princess in it! Do it, we did halloween skeleton outfit twice with Funny bones 😄

For stocking fillers or a homemade Advent calendar:

Clarins has a 2 hour only (from 7pm) offer of a free sample sale event, plus their normal 3 samples you can select, plus a free set of foundation samples.

So, I bought a £10 tube of hand lotion and paid postage of £2.95 and got all of that for £12.95.

From memory their cheapest things you can buy sell out quickly when they have these offers , so you may need to buy something for more than £10. The £2.95 postage is by Yodel, you need to select it rather than £3.95 by Royal Mail.

I picked up a lovely Bayliss & Harding cherry set in Sainsbury’s for £6 (had Royce for my MIL’s birthday.

Sainsbury’s also have offers on their Easter eggs if you have a nectar card. Some are half price and I got one for £1!

@Cos1970oh thanks for the Easter egg tip. They are so expensive this year I think so I’ve been picking bits up whilst on offer. What size are the £1 eggs?

M&S has another sale starting. It can be 'hunt the bargain/find the sale' at the moment, as they must be working through things

It says up to 50% off, but there are quite a few things, particularly other brands, which are reduced more than that.

The Beauty sale has only the original prices listed, but when you click on the item the sale price appears. There are plenty of things by well-known makes suitable for Christmas presents.

I've bought a couple of crew necked cashmere jumpers for £45 each.

@Yalzthanks for posting about the m and s sale. There is quite a lot in there currently. I have ordered the ultra sun SPF at £22 to try on an upcoming holiday. I suffer with prickly heat so need to try a suncream that’s better for sensitive skin and at full price it was a bit eye watering but happy to try at half price!

Ultrasun is brilliant! Its the only sun cream i can use on my son, been using it for many years. Not sticky at all, soaks in quickly, no casting. It also doesnt stain clothing that horrible yellow either!

@ILoveCatsAndKittensoh brilliant so pleased to hear that. I usually spend about £3 a bottle from Aldi so this is a big price jump for me!

Ooh thanks for the M&S sale info - my friend's birthday is coming up and I've got her some nice beauty stuff at half price :)

If, like me, you glanced at the M&S sale a few hours ago it might be worth looking again as many more things are now in the sale. For instance, some secret support bra vests, which I like to sleep in, are now half price. I prefer these to the ones with thin straps as they are more supportive.

Apologies - most of the cashmere jumpers have gone out of stock. 😉 They have Cashmere cardigans for £47.50, though.

There’s lots of merino +/- cashmere knitwear at half price, including some lovely Jaeger. Some of the women’s styles generally seem very Claudia-in-the-castle inspired.

I think it was a 155g Malteser egg. I also got two 230g eggs from Asda for £5.97 each or something like that (not a good a saving as Sainsbury’s)

I’ve bought all the eggs I need and saved nearly £20 as they are very expensive this year 😏

Wow, you must've got lucky with your Sainsburys store @Cos1970 my local store still has them at £2.75 with Nectar, the same as on line.

I think different Sainsburys in different areas seem to do different offers. Last year I got really excited when someone on here said you could buy the Bananagrams game there for £5 but it was still £13 when I scanned it in my local store. 🙁

To be fair I think it may have been a mistake as none of the other eggs were discounted that much, but I’m not complaining!! 😃

Hopefully this link will work. I ordered 4 of these half price personalised tins. They arrived today and are so well packaged and absolutely beautiful little tins with personalised message on front. Each one less than £4.
