Be careful with Hearst on top cash back, they rejected loads of us at Christmas. Mine still hasn’t resolved.

Mine was rejected too but when I disputed it then it got agreed. Fingers crossed others will have the same 🤞

Amazon haul has 30% off over £50 until 04/02. Not as good as last year's deals, but ok if you were going to buy anyway.

Hearst magazines have 6 months subscription for £6, plus you get a £10 John Lewis voucher. Also up to £8.50 cash back on TCB!!

@LostMyRubySlippers Could you tell me how you get the £10 john lewis voucher please? I cant see it listed anywhere? Thank you for sharing

Pandora is expensive for what it is. I don’t know what is popular which that age group but depending on budget I would look at Tiffany. The other option is a small independent jewellers, our local town has a row with about 10 different jewellery shops, some chains, some second hand some very expensive and some cheaper. I would go and have a wander, be honest with them about your budget and see what they say. I will also say jewellery is very personal so I would make sure it is returnable.
If these are all friends it might be nice to buy the same item for each.

I have found Tiffany these days to be much more expensive than I remember. I've been looking for a jewellery gift for my DD's 16th and there doesn't seem to be anything decent available for under £400. Also interested in alternatives!

WimbyAce · 02/02/2026 22:37

Thanks for this, have bought a couple as party gifts. 1 arrived today and looks a decent gift so ordered another!

Boots £10 Tuesday has its usual variety of offers. I’ve just bought a Clinique mascara (normally £26 apparently) and some no7 pure retinol retinol night cream (£37.95)

There are some more obviously present things in the offer, like candles and shower gels.

Free click and collect for £15+, free delivery for £25+.

If you’re coming to this post later in the day, try filtering by ‘Hide out of stock items’.

I went RL shopping today, managed to get some more presents from Boots, Sainsbury’s and TKMax.

I got the diffusers and candle from Sainsbury’s, all for £14.85, Christmas presents for DM, DS, DSil and DMil.

Call of Duty bath bomb, a darts set and bath set from Boots for £16.95 (saved £39.55). Tempted to get another bath set as they’re £12 instead of £40.

Then got two Nike t-shirt and sock sets for £12.99 each for my DS and one of my DS’s friends. They had quite a few of these sets in TKMax, they also had the t-shirts in blue and black.

won’t let me add the two other photos 🤷‍♀️

Hotel Chocolate dark choc 2025 advent calendar for £5.58 on Amazon currently.

I got some Hotel Chocolate advent calendars in the NY sales - there was quite a lot of bloom on the dark chocolate one.

RainbowZebraWarrior · 04/02/2026 12:41

Bit of a random one here, but worth a look in British heart foundation charity shops if you have any near you. Two of mine are bagging up cosmetics and toiletries in big zip lock bags and selling them for a fiver. It's obviously all stuff thats been donated out of the Christmas beauty advent calendars. I had 17 items in one bag yesterday including Blossom Street vanilla orchid perfume (£28!) Clarins, L'Oréal, No 7 Protect and Perfect, Sanctuary Spa, Essie, Autograph, Soap & Glory, Revolution and Body Shop. I reckon the contents were around £100. I did have to chuck two items mind (a clearly used L'Oréal foundation and an Avon palette) but still massively good value.

It's like the Beauty Advent Calendars just keep giving (for anyone who follows the threads in Style & Beauty)

Might be worth checking if you have a spacenk account . They have just boosted my reward points to give me a free £5 , luckily we have a local one , so free click and collect too .

Also Holland and Barrett have updated their reward scheme and have given me a free £7 there too . £5 automatically and another £2 for updating my profile .

Hi, I went rl shopping today:

The local Claire’s is closing down so everything had at least 30% off. Sad to see it go.

JL had some Xmas goods reduced - very annoyingly they were dotted all over the place - almost as if they were trying to hide them, rather than clear stock. (I hate the layout of JL at the best of times, but it was particularly awful today.) They had the alcohol crackers and QS tins reduced, plus some beer. I bought three bottles of Xmas beer because they were further reduced due to a damaged box and a chocolate pink cracker for DH for Valentine’s Day!

Btw: For JellyCat obsessives - not bargainous 🤣- but JL had some lovely Valentine’s JCs by the till in the homeware department and other ones as well - vegetables, animals and - weirdest of all - rulers! Might be worth having a look, if anyone is after a particular item.

There was a little bit left - nothing very exciting - in Boots 70% off. I got some pairs of Xmas socks in a box to use as presents at some point in the future and yet another box of FCUK toiletries that no one in my house uses, but for some reason I keep buying it 🙀 I was pleased with the off-white cashmere mix socks in a box that I bought and have given them to myself! I think the fluffy reindeer grippy socks will also be staying chezPond because, why not?

BadgerFace · 05/02/2026 18:22

Thanks @Theraffarian for the H&B tip, I just ordered £11 of healthy snacks for 37p after discounts, 3 for 2 and the free points on my reward card!! I rarely shop there so I’d never have known!

Not Christmassy but definitely a bargain, youknowwho’s have school trousers and shorts for about £3/£2.50. Just got a load of breeks delivered for the next school year and the one after that, happy with the quality

Super thank you, just given this a shout for DTwins. Quality looks hit and miss but it's so cheap, worth the risk

keepincool · 05/02/2026 19:40

Adding my thanks to @Theraffarian for the H&B tip. I had £9 worth of points so have stocked up on a litre of sweet almond oil to make my own diffuser fragrances - plus a lip balm and a stack of 'healthy' treats.

If you use the H&B app you can also get 22% off a £40+ spend and use any points you have.

Ewock · 05/02/2026 19:45

Adding my thanks for the H&B tip. I bought £82 worth and got it for £26. Vitamins were buy 1 get 1 free. There was 22% off a £40 spend and I had £7.50 in points. I needed to buy vitamins anyway so very pleased.
