Festive greetings to all and everyone. We're so close! I've just got a few last minute bits of wrapping to go and I hope everything is all bought. The Christmas food shop is arriving on Tuesday, the gingerbread house is being baked tomorrow and cinnamon buns are on my list of things to make before the week is out! Massive Christmas wishes to each and every one of you.

This post is a work in process and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of mn filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

If you have any referral links then please post on this thread here and share around the joy/referral perks.

Big thank you to all the bargain hunters

the Fahlo bracelets may have been a nightmare but the whale shark tracking is a huge hit with my future marine biologist (12 yo)

The Amex money back at the Entertainer led to the 8yo getting the Disney Pixar lamp Lego set he’s wanted for ages

various garden almanacs have gone to various people

the Hotel chocolat advent calendars have been decanted into snack bowls

the sweetzy order made up sweet cones for the neighbour kids

and lots of cash back on various things!

This was my 13th year on these threads. This year’s hits were the Fhalo bracelets, Steph&Joe popcorn, Jellycat (courtesy of Anthrapologie) and the Real Technique brushes. I couldn’t have done half as much without the ideas and discounts from here. So thank you and Merry Christmas to everyone who has contributed.

ILoveCatsAndKittens · 25/12/2025 14:17

Ive just been looking for the same! Amazon have a roll of 25 metre wrap for £3.99 but read the reviews and many saying sellotape doesnt stick to it so ive not bothered ordering.
I remember years ago buying rolls for 20p from asda around new year but last two years everything in my local goes on boxing day, they must ship it out elsewhere.

hby9628 · 25/12/2025 23:01

The abbot Lyon birthstone heart ring was a massive hit with my daughter. Thanks to the original poster of that deal back in august….i only remember the date as we were in London for Coldplay when I ordered it.
not a brand I ever really looked at but she’s thrilled with it.

Anyone got an Argos code going?

Ewock · 26/12/2025 09:32

Merry christmas to everyone. So many happy people due to the fantastic deals on here.
My ds is looking for a wheel to go with his ps5. Does anyone have any idea which is best as the prices are crazy.

ruralwanderer · 26/12/2025 09:57

Vinted and Ebay are absolutely chockablock of "unwanted Christmas present"s so it's worth having a scan through for bargains for the presents drawer. One person's junk is another person's treasure and all that ;)

zacsGranny · 26/12/2025 10:16

We have been ill all over the holidays, so have only been able to exchange presents between myself and DH. He said his best present was his glasses cleaning cloths. His favourite car, and his favourite boat. I hope they go down as well with my son and grandson when they eventually get them.
Isn't it funny how it's sometimes the little things that are a hit?
