Festive greetings to all and everyone. We're so close! I've just got a few last minute bits of wrapping to go and I hope everything is all bought. The Christmas food shop is arriving on Tuesday, the gingerbread house is being baked tomorrow and cinnamon buns are on my list of things to make before the week is out! Massive Christmas wishes to each and every one of you.

@Ardagusdubh Primark have had them in the past but not sure if they do at the moment.
Not standard ears but Asda have Minnie woolly hat and scarf sets with ears for £12 and they’re showing as in stock in lots of my local shops.
Failing that could you try Vinted and search for local sellers and arrange to collect from them?

Edit: Apologies I read it the wrong way around and that you needed Minnie ears!

@Ardagusdubh does your daughter have any Alice bands (hair bands)? There are videos on YouTube, I’m thinking simple DIY sets might be good enough on Christmas Day until the others arrive, rather than go shopping tomorrow! (If no hairbands then any fancy dress / dress up stuff might have a band you can repurpose)

@Ardagusdubh Could you do a shout-out on a local FB group for some? I'm sure someone would have a pair knocking around you could buy.

@burblishI agree about Gruum - I paid £4.95 postage to get two room fragrance sprays and a hand soap. They do all smell nice, but I think £4.95 was as much as I’d want to pay.

I've been awol for the last few threads but I just want to say thank you for all the bargains, merry Christmas and see you all in January for the prequel threads!

Also agree! I paid the same and was disappointed, added it to a secret Santa present to bulk out but was glad I wasn’t relying on it.

Same reason I swerve grum and the square bottles annoy me as can’t the last of the stuff out

@Ardagusdubh - as a stopgap, could you buy another pair of Minnie ears from Primark and either cut off, or try to cover the bow?

Screwfix have an advent calendar thingy on their app. Somehow I’d managed to miss it completely but today is either £10 or £15 off with no minimum spend , although must be more than the voucher eg £10.01 or £15.01 . Saw this on HUKD so all the info is on there and hope it’s ok to pop on here .Vouchers can be used twice as well and looks like they hold click and collect orders for 21 days.

Just checked on my Amazon Haul order of socks, hats, gloves to donate as it said originally that it was due to be delivered tomorrow. It is now saying that they tried to deliver on the 22nd and it is now being 'held for pickup at carrier location' however the courier is SF which is a Chinese company and when I try to find out where the pickup location is, it says that function isn't available in my country? Has anyone else had this?

Amazon customer service are usually fantastic. Worth a chat with them.

I have now officially started next years preparation 😂 with sale shopping at argos/ tu (some nice half price Xmas jumpers for next yr) jojo maman bebe sale this morning and some h&m kids for more everyday wear! I also got a couple of bargains from never fully dressed on asos which are arriving later this week!

I think as long as you keep them sealed/wrapped, they'll be absolutely fine. I rediscovered a small Neom candle that I must have bought for myself last year in the sale - it had been packed up with the Christmas tree decorations for some bizarre reason! - and it's still perfect.
