Festive greetings to all and everyone. We're so close! I've just got a few last minute bits of wrapping to go and I hope everything is all bought. The Christmas food shop is arriving on Tuesday, the gingerbread house is being baked tomorrow and cinnamon buns are on my list of things to make before the week is out! Massive Christmas wishes to each and every one of you.

My partner had his Fahlo bracelet today (penguin) and he loved it, is saying he would like a wolf next. His mum also thought it was brilliant and I think is angling for one next year! So the long wait was worth it. Never would have heard of them without this thread.
Also thanks to the poster who first mentioned the hamleys sale a couple of months ago. The teddy with the year on was a very popular present for a tiny baby and looks like I spent loads but was about £10! I did have to tell the mum this as she was worried I had brought something expensive

Tomorrow will be weird (husband died nearly two years ago) but my adult DS & DD will have some great gifts (to show my love for their care & support), thanks to you all. ❤️

Thank you for these threads and bargains. I always enjoy reading them, but especially so this year. I had emergency surgery in November and have had to do all of my shopping on line as a result. Merry Christmas everyone 🎅

I have finished wrapping (having lost first the paper, then the presents) and am about to settle down to nibbles, Baileys, and a movie.

Thanks for all the inspiration and the bargains. I am now going to try to be good and not twitch on sale bargains (but did buy Christmas jumpers).

Scottish Fine Soaps have started their sale. Lots of very good value gifts, they have beautiful smelling hand creams, soaps etc. I put them into a gift basket which always goes down well!

Just finishing DD wrapping. Went to wrap the suitcase and found a security tags 🤦‍♀️

I misjudged my wrapping paper requirements. Ah well. DS has a carry case for Warhammer figures. It’s gigantic. And not wrapped. It’ll be fine 🙂

Oh god I over buy on wrapping paper every year by at least one roll. I have anxiety about not enough paper!

I haven't posted this year but have been reading so thanks for another year of bargains @Reastie and everyone who has posted. I'm done with buying and wrapping. Had a nervous wait with DHL losing DS's main present, having to wait a week to report it missing, then delaying the replacement, but that's finally here.
Had Christmas dinner today so I now have a fridge full of leftovers, cheese and desserts for tomorrow!
I've spent some time this evening unsubscribing from email lists to avoid the sales emails and now on our annual Die Hard Christmas Eve viewing while I wait for my cinnamon rolls to rise.
