@Whodhaveem fortunately we loan not own and it's a riding school horse so our expenses aren't as massive. We can't take him off the yard which in one way holds her back as I know she'd love to do competitions but in another way my wallet is very relieved.
instead we spunk the savings on music lessons and instruments instead 😂

I know a yard in London that allows kids to share competition ponies that can be taken out and they usually always have ponies available to share. 😉Just saying

My 14yo wouldn't be interested in any of the makeup or skincare, or Nike pro kit. I think TikTok has a lot to answer for when kids and teenagers want Drunk Elephant cosmetics. Even Caroline Hirons was all 🤔🙄about that.

She already has most of the tech mentioned, so that's out. I'm still waiting for her list but she'll get a bluetooth speaker for her record player (she has an Alexa already but the sound isn't the best), salt lamp for her room, a Taylor Swift sweatshirt, probably a trial golf lesson (the kids sometimes go to the driving range with my husband and love it) and we'll see what else.

A few years ago I found my old school shoes which were DMs. They hadn't been worn much at but did have a couple scuffs. Anyways they sold on eBay for £65!

I am also planning a proper nice Christmas trip to town to soak up the atmosphere and get her some more bits probably some clothes and bits if i see something nice. She likes craft sets at the moment and cushions and throws.

Its a lovely age to buy for and i am really excited about her gifts.
