In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

How to do click links -

I hope that makes sense…

Present tracking apps might be of interest eg Santas bag, gift list.

Here are some useful websites:

Amazon free delivery tool here

Aliexpress [[http://www.aliexpress.com www.aliexpress.com . Useful tips here from sorryiasked: Aliexpress is a Chinese site that sells everything! Assume all branded stuff is fake. I personally wouldn't buy baby toys or electronics from there as I don't have faith in the product safety. But for fan merchandise, dolls clothes, "lego", household items etc it's great. Check the size guide on clothes and lower your expectations!
Use a seller who has a 4.5 star rating or higher.
You can pay via PayPal and there is an excellent tracking system, but be aware express postage is usually 2-3 weeks and standard postage up to 2-3 months.

Bargainmax here

Camelcamelcamel is a brilliant site that tracks prices on amazon here

Lisa angel sale is popular when on, apparently arrive nicely packaged too here

Magazine subscription offers here and here

Netpricedirect has discount toys and party bits here although be aware reviews of the site is mixed

Toys for a pound here

Any additional websites or recommendations to add - just let me know Grin . I should add something about Ali express maybe as we’ve had that before…will get my brain thinking about what other sites/products have been popular.

@Thelifeofawife it is still cheaper to join the hotel chocolat VIP club for free to get a velvetiser. They are 69.95 and that includes 2 pod cups as well. It then gives you the option to add hot chocolate on for a reduced price within the same order

Sorry I didn’t see that deal mentioned.
I bought last year, wish I’d gotten it that cheap, though I still managed to get a fairly decent deal.

I need to do a restock of the hot chocolate, will have to keep an eye out for deals on those

Qwerty21 · 27/09/2023 14:54

How often do people use their velvetiser?and can they only be used with the hotel Chocolat pods? I'm tempted but not sure if it's worth the money

friskybivalves · 27/09/2023 14:59

Re The Lego Wave it seems super hard to find it in stock for delivery or collection anywhere. Would love it for DS but not if it means driving 30 miles...the petrol would wipe out the discount pretty much!

mumonthehill · 27/09/2023 15:07

Thank you!

If you have dog walking friends or people to buy for then Cocopup are doing bogof on the bags with the code
FREEBUNDLE
via TikTok. I love the stuff

Ours is used fairly regularly from sept throughout winter.... I buy the pouches of Hotel Chocolat drinking chocolate but the kids get regular hot chocolate powder 🤣 youngest also uses it for warm milk for his weetabix as he can't reach the microwave!

Thelifeofawife · 27/09/2023 15:14

@Qwerty21 we use ours all the time! Mostly in winter for hot chocolate, but we also make coffee with it throughout the year (for frothy milk)

Thelifeofawife · 27/09/2023 15:15

@Qwerty21 also you can use any cups/mugs as you pour the drink in from the velvetiser rather than have the cup sat under a machine

IggyAce · 27/09/2023 15:15

Thanks for the new thread.
Typo have early access members sale of 30% off full price items.

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 27/09/2023 15:16

Not bargainous but Pandora launch a Game of Thrones range tomorrow (can access today if you are signed up to their emails(

WhyDoesItAlways · 27/09/2023 15:31

I've used my velvetiser more this summer than I did last winter I think. Made lots of iced chocolate drinks.

You can use any hot chocolate powder or flakes. Could even grate a bar of chocolate yourself to use or crumble in a flake. I've also put a spoonful of Nutella in before.

OnionBag · 27/09/2023 15:43

Was there a Sephora discount code? Thanks

WimbyAce · 27/09/2023 15:51

Christmas PJs have arrived from Asda, are really lovely. Also got some other Christmas clothes so got 20% off £30 👍🏻
