We bought the dualit version maybe 3yrs ago as it had better overall reviews, and was cheaper.

We used it every day for a month. Then a couple of times a week. Then the novelty completely wore off and we didn't use it again other than a handful of times.

Sold it on marketplace earlier this year.

I noticed a few referrals in the last thread; it is mentioned in Reastie's OP but I'm going to be that person and just post a reminder that there is a referral thread specifically for those which leaves this one clear of not only the posts but also the upset when people don't realise someone else is benefitting from a link.

Thanks also to the poster on the first page of the last thread, who flagged up the second Gruum freebie. I now have a full wash-bag present for DH.

Now, does anyone have any recommendations for a wildlife camera? DD would love to be able to see what comes into our garden, and DH loves a bit of tech.

How do they work? Do they record and you have to go onto a computer to watch, or do they work with an app? I'm terrible with technology 😂

We got that kangaroo Polly pocket for DD for her birthday (7th), and she absolutely loves it. Especially as it has the little Joey as well.

My 7yr old daughter has decided she wants a metal detector from Santa after seeing one in the smyths catalogue.
does anyone have any advice or recommendations?

My advice is don’t let her dip it into a stream to see if there’s metal at the bottom! 🤦‍♀️

In the interest of fairness I will point out that we worked out that the cookiez makery oven is not strictly single use and can be reused in a fashion!

@SpottyBumPony my favourite Valentte fragrance is Lemongrass & Rosemary which is a strong fresh citrus scent - so many visitors have positively commented on the diffuser/ candle in my home. Also like the patchouli and eucalyptus - it’s more of a herby/ spa scent, lovely for the bathroom.

Also interested in the valentte scents. I see if you ring them they will send some samples but I want to take advantage of the diffuser offer before it ends so won't have time to wait for them. I got the free box offer they had on a few weeks ago so think I will get that back out and have a proper sniff.

@Ehunt1 not a recommendation as I haven't bought one, but I did see a kids metal detector in lidl or aldi a couple of weeks back-lidl I think..

@ApiratesaysYarrr I see you posted a question on the last thread about Valentte. I think White Company use some fragrance oils in their diffusers whereas Valentte only seem to use essential oils. There won't be anything along the same lines of the White company Seychelles line for this reason (it's quite heavy with coconut and vanilla / amber iirc)

I get asked about this sort of thing a lot personally as I only work with essential oils myself and I'm always being asked if I can do a strawberry fragrance or something that smells like a favourite perfume.

Shoeaholics have got quite a good sale on if anyone Is looking for carvella or kg shoes or bags to buy for.
