Parcel panic- Please join me if you are awaiting deliveries

Hello,
It's getting to that bit of Christmas where I'm starting to panic about things not arriving in time
Currently I'm awaiting a necklace, that has suddenly jumped to expected deliver on the 23rd. Its the main part of my mum's gifts

Lots of other bits struggling to find their way through the post including a key ring that should have arrived at the weekend.

What is everyone else waiting for?

she is abroad

and yes she is happy to receive them!

I’m glad things are still getting delivered, even if they are hideously late.

It seems that Black Friday and the week or so after was the dodgy time.

I ordered a little silver ring from QVC in mid December. It arrived about four days later.
Realised it was a bit big, so ordered the same one a size smaller on Christmas Eve. Got an email saying it'd been dispatched on 27th December.
Had an email from Evri (who also delivered the first one) saying they have it at their hub. That's as far as it's got. Still waiting for it.
Fortunately everything else (not from QVC or Evri) has arrived in good time.

To be fair, l've found that parcels sent within this country via the post office haven't really been delayed
I sent a birthday present to my friend last week (his birthday's this Wednesday), second class, and he received it a couple of days later.
Horrendous delays on letters/post, though.
And someone told me that they know someone who works for the post office, and they were 'told off' at work for sorting NHS letters for the posties to deliver, rather than envelopes that were obviously Christmas cards. Apparently told not to do that.

Scrawlrbox have emailed to say they’ll resend my order so fingers crossed they now arrive and can Atleast be put away for Easter!

Sellers have resent one of my missing parcels
looking at tracking I’m told that that Royal Mail have received it. This is written in Welsh. Is my parcel in Wales? Which is odd considering it’s coming from the West Country to East Anglia. Is it a glitch? Or have they just assumed that I know Welsh as I have a Welsh name? Who knows. Nothing surprises me anymore with Royal Mail.

I sent something signed for for work. The client has admitted they’ve received it, which is lucky as the tracking details say nothing.

Received one of the items bought in November yesterday. Had finally given up and asked for a refund. It’s no use to anyone now as was very personalised
