Hello,
It's getting to that bit of Christmas where I'm starting to panic about things not arriving in time
Currently I'm awaiting a necklace, that has suddenly jumped to expected deliver on the 23rd. Its the main part of my mum's gifts

Lots of other bits struggling to find their way through the post including a key ring that should have arrived at the weekend.

What is everyone else waiting for?

Yes it is and it's up to me if I want to call them scabs for betraying the strikers

It’s a free labour market. People have the right to work, as well as the right to strike.

I don’t see anyone here calling the strikers assholes, so why call those working “scabs”??! What a horrible thing to say.

My yodel delivery came yesterday and the two Evri packages came today....

With the date on the invoices being the original date of order... so what happens if they send me a replacement? Can I just return them and explain the original parcels arrived after all??

I'd been in touch with the companies when they said they'd been delivered but I hadn't received them, and two of the companies said they'd send replacements 🙈🙈

I’m awaiting a few parcels that I ordered from Amazon nearly two weeks ago. I know there would be a delay due to the fact that they were overseas - they stated that they would be here on the 16th December - There has been no further update.
I have ordered other parcels though in the last week that have come within 1-2 days. I must admit, I’ve done most of my Christmas Shopping online this year. It’s more easier and convenient than driving to the local shopping centre, finding a parking space and paying over the odds to park and then the queues in shops. I can see why retail is dying though.

My two major Christmas worried both arrived today.
Also a parcel via DPD which has me worried as dh had had one delivered by them earlier in the day.
I’ve given up on the earlier birthday things

The thing I'm finding tricky Is the lack of tracking. Some parcels even though its tracked say they will just let me know when they've attempted to deliver it which is frustrating. Some don't even appear to have registered

Amazon parcels coming reliably though and I got a covid kit the day after I asked

Two coasters dispatched on the 2.12 expected by the 9.12

Necklace ordered on 20th November with arrival estimated on the 14th, but was only dispatched on the 11.12 (after an email to hurry it up!) Tracking just says not available

Candle and bracelet both dispatched 7.12 no update available

A little statue ornament which was estimated 13-19th which was apparently only dispatched yesterday. No updates available

It would be much less frustrating if I could see if they were moving, the arrival Dates were all comfortably before Christmas but looking less likely now

My PlayStation 5 from Game has been returned to them by DPD without a single attempted delivery. Ordered on 27th November and paid for next day delivery.

Ive managed to find another at an Argos branch thankfully.

Anyone know how to contact Game? I tried to email them to say please refund but the email was returned. Tried their chat but it was all automated and we went round in loops. 🤬

My sons birthday today and one of his football tops is nowhere to be found, doesn't seem to be trackable either, ordered in November. So annoying! We're off to In Laws for Christmas on Monday so probably won't turn up for Christmas either

Just had an email from RM to say one of my parcels is being delivered today- hooray!

That leaves just one (untracked annoyingly) still to come before Xmas - fingers crossed!

Plus another that’s a non- Xmas order but obv still want it!

I’m waiting on two, both with RM. One I have tracking for and it has updated since yesterday so I’m hopeful it will arrive eventually. The other is an Etsy seller who provided no tracking but has a disclaimer on their page that they won’t refund or resend items that don’t arrive due to the RM strikes. It’s a main present for dp ordered mid nov and I’ll be very surprised if it ever turns up.

My RM package ordered from Amazon on 28th November arrived today. But I’ve already been refunded so I’m going to send it straight back to the seller!

My last 2 are Etsy orders with RM as well. I can’t see them turning up.
It does annoy me that sellers aren’t using an alternative. I can understand if you’re selling something small and RM is cheapest for letter size deliveries but these are both £50+ orders. I’ve run a small business myself and would 100% have used an alternative delivery partner at the first mention of RM strikes.

Cadbury are cunning ordered Christmas stocking chocs. They've not turned up. So tried to log in. Refused the password I know was correct twice and blocked me. So I went to forgot password they said we'll send you a code, three hours later zilch

The tracking just says "we're expecting your parcel" so I don't even think it has left yet.

My USPS delivery arrived a few moments ago 🎉 I’m still waiting on several and don’t even get me started on refunds ….. but my dd finally has a decent present now as the other main thing has been a disaster.

FFS just got some Second Class crap only posted on the 12th, and still waiting on my First Class parcel posted the 10th!! Whyyyy

I've finally had a RM delivery of something I ordered on black Friday and can say that I no longer have any outstanding parcels!

It'll be real life shops or Amazon for me until things settle down again.

My parcel to my friend was delivered today, but now she's worried about the one she's sent to me! 😂

I posted several items 1st Class on the 3rd. No sign of any of it.

Still waiting for the jumpers I ordered on 25 November. They're saying strikes but the tracking hasn't updated that it's left the origin since 30 November. So I'm not best pleased.

One was my husband's birthday present for last week.

I had an order today from Pandora that had been sent 24 tracked. Still awaiting Boots order that is a collect one from a local Boots and a Shein.

Hope they come in time.

Yes funny how the junk Mail is getting through ok. I’m sure it’s not because the RM doesn’t want to lose those contracts and is prioritising them above the post people actually do want…..

I've received all my RM sent parcels, albeit a bit slower than normal which is fine. Because I expected it. Meanwhile EVRI delivered one into my black bin. On bin day. Because it's an obvious safe place apparently.
