Parcel panic- Please join me if you are awaiting deliveries

Hello,
It's getting to that bit of Christmas where I'm starting to panic about things not arriving in time
Currently I'm awaiting a necklace, that has suddenly jumped to expected deliver on the 23rd. Its the main part of my mum's gifts

Lots of other bits struggling to find their way through the post including a key ring that should have arrived at the weekend.

What is everyone else waiting for?

I'd be making a formal complaint about that

I think that’s terrible behaviour from that postman asking about a tip!

I'd also report that. He sounds like an idiot! My husband is a postie and has had less tips last year than this year or in previous years. But like hospitality, it's not the customers job to pay the staff in tips!

Mum ordered from the body shop on Black Friday which still hasn’t arrived. Was given a refund & she went and bought at the store yesterday. I ordered Gin from local Yorkshire distillery and something from Selfridges on Tuesday evening. Both arrived with DPD today with regular shipping. Was expecting them after Christmas. I need to be less last minute next year

All of mine that I was worried about have arrived … I think!

Just waiting on one from Amazon now which shouldn’t be an issue.

My Emma mattress and bed base. That's on Emma though. So far she has been spectacularly crap and it is turning into a right fiasco.

I've had a delayed one from amazon. It was due to be delivered on an amazon day order yesterday but didn't arrive. It now just says delayed

Also waiting on an evri parcel from Asda. Just says delayed now after being due to be delivered on Saturday, and texting me to say it would be

Still waiting on the necklace ordered back on the 29th November. Etsy seller says they dispatched on the 12th (which still feels like too long! I had chased by that point), royal mail only marked it as dispatched yesterday on a 48 hr parcel.

Frustrating

Update on my parcel: Dreamland have finally responded to my Emails and calls- they have apparently checked with the warehouse and it should be here "by the end of the week" - although not saying which week. And nothing helpful like a tracking number. But I suppose it's something.

I'm not very optimistic but am somewhat relieved that there do actually seem to be one or two people working at the company.

Also DD's Irish citizenship certificate came through today which had been stuck with Royal Mail - it wasn't urgent as she won't be applying for the passport yet but it was a relief to get this valuable item through. The Irish Passport Office has recently suspended deliveries to the UK because of the strike - Lord knows what they must think of us.

No disasters this year! My last amazon orders should be arriving tomorrow. Delivery service from Evri has been great for Next orders. Will pick up any final bits and pieces in town tomorrow.

A case of frozen dog food is stuck at DPD and is now overdue

If it doesn’t arrive today it will need to be binned and I don’t have enough of the last delivery to last until the new year.

I’m still waiting on RM parcels but they won’t arrive now

No sign of my two parcels, still stuck at "we're expecting your parcel" stage on tracking. Oh well. Disappointing, but not surprising.

The electric throw has arrived! Nearly kissed the delivery man.

Still waiting for photos I've gave up! Ordered about 3 weeks ago only got dispatched few days ago!

Ordered a (stupidly expensive) Taylor Swift hoodie for DD as her main present on 1st Dec. Chased up by email 2 weeks ago, took them 10 days to reply. They said it hadn't been dispatched as they were waiting for new stock from the supplier!!! Livid. No mention of this when ordering.

Dashed to new look and grabbed a hoodie in the same colour and pinned a TS logo to it so she'd have something to open - and the bloody thing just got delivered via Yodel at 9.30am on Christmas Eve!!

Well I guess Christmas next year will be starting even earlier as we'll all be ordering in early November / October!

My miracle happened. Evri finally delivered the parcel to the local shop for me to go collect yesterday. Then DPD delivered an unexpected order considerably early that I hadn’t even hoped to have for Xmas so that was a huge bonus.

My parcel finally turned up this morning - do I win the 'longest delivery time' or can anyone beat this?

My jumpers turned up on Wednesday. They're lovely and have been well received but jeepers, the delivery time was shocking.

It might be coincidental, but my husband went down to the sorting office a couple of days ago to enquire about it - more so we could tell the upset sender we had done something positive than because we thought it would help. It wasn't in there, so he was told, but the man took a note and said he would 'look out for it'. I have no idea whether this had any bearing on its subsequent appearance!

The cards I ordered from moonpig at the end of November arrived on Tuesday just gone so you’ve definitely beat me
