I bought the coolest present for the smoker in my life today.

This is going to sound like an ad, but it isn't. So I won't mention the company name.

Its a lighter that sticks to the back of your phone sort of like a phone pop, and works like a car cigarette lighter, and you can recharge it, its totally safe so you can't accidently open it.

I bought it on offer and it just showed up and it looks so expensive and lovely.

Its the coolest thing I've bought in a long time, I'm very excited to give it on Christmas day Grin

Just wanted to share because I'm stupidly excited about Christmas and nobody in my rl cares about these quirky little gifts I manage to find, even though it is officially Christmas season now.

Any more little gifts that anyone is super excited to give then please share, I promise I'll be excited about it Grin

😂 could you imagine what I'd be accused off if I was on commission, I'm already helping to kill my loved one apparently Hmm as if purchasing a lighter would sway them either way.

As an ex smoker I can categorically say receiving this gift would not have ‘encouraged’ me to smoke. In my experience, you give up when you’re ready, not when someone has acted in a super judgmental way. If anything the judgemental comments from people only made me more stubborn and committed to smoking.

Jesus did I stumble onto AIBU instead of the Christmas board 😂😂 thank you for telling me how awful the gift I bought is and how much of a murderer I am.

I better not post about how much chocolate I've bought my kids, they will be toothless, obese drains on the NHS by the time this thread is done 😂

dont know why so many people are hating on this. i dont smoke myself but i think this is a really cool product and posting it on here is not promoting smoking in any way.

Buying chocolates at christmas for a fat person is social acceptable so why isnt it ok to buy a smoker this cool lighter?

I literally don't know anyone who smokes anymore. Thank goodness. When I started in the NHS 30 years ago, there was an ashtray marked "NHS" in our staff room. Hmm

@chesirecat99 if you search usb rechargeable lighters on amazon you can find ones that light candles. They have a long bendy neck. I use mine for my gas hob as well

I wonder if it would work for lighting candles? I'm thinking not without risking getting burnt. I never have a lighter/matches when I need one.
You can buy usb rechargeable lighters for candles, they are great!
