With this lockdown stuff I can think of no better distraction than Christmas! Online present hunting will he even more important right now too.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets

Name of link

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile you’re welcome! Luckily my daughter woke up screaming at 3.30 so I got straight onto the website, then couldn’t get back to sleep!

chocolatepudandchocolatesauce · 08/11/2020 12:33

@NoWordForFluffy the first time they said it was showing as out for delivery on their system as as is was before the estimated due date i had to wait. I spoke again yesterday to be told DHL are running 24-48 hours late and will be resuming deliveries from Monday so I shouldn't be worried that their system says they couldn't find it.......

Gurufloof · 08/11/2020 12:41

The mountain warehouse mens trousers, any idea how long they are as I have a freakishly long legged son to buy for. They have camo trousers for 24.99 less the code a pp gave and free delivery but if they are not long enough I will have the bother of sending back

Sunshineskies · 08/11/2020 12:43

Oh I just realised, they were already discounted 25% as some lines had 25% off yesterday, that’s why I bought them 🤦🏻‍♀️ Sorry, as you were...!

slithytoveisascientist · 08/11/2020 12:50

Can’t remember who was asking

BooSurprise · 08/11/2020 13:10

@girlsyearapart

new look has 25% off everything for the next two days
It's like they waited for me to place my order last night Confused
Arthien · 08/11/2020 13:13

@JaneyJimplin thanks! How do I find out whether it’s compatible or not? I wanted to get the smash bros link as a review said it was good for the game he’s playing, but the Nintendo website is so unclear about whether it will only work for the WiiU. Do second-hand ones still work in the same way? It had a warning when I looked along the lines of “may not include all content”.

Puffalicious · 08/11/2020 14:21

lutherralphone no suggestions for a bargain but I use the sealzskins waterproof socks for Duke of Edinburgh. Absolutely worth it. They are pricey but should last many years.

Interestingly I stumped up for the Sealzskin gloves for DS1 are they are not particularly waterproof! She's hat is good- but not attractive at all!!!!

Puffalicious · 08/11/2020 14:22

*DHs not shes!
