With this lockdown stuff I can think of no better distraction than Christmas! Online present hunting will he even more important right now too.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Hi, somebody posted about magazine subscriptions before but I can’t find the posts now, can anyone help?

KillZill · 07/11/2020 19:42
@DumplingsAndStew I’ve just had a look on the Jacques of London page on Amazon. They have a gorgeous alphabet puzzle/snakes and ladders 2 in 1 game for £6.99 - perfect for a three year old.

of London Wooden Alphabet Puzzles - Perfect Wooden Alphabet letters for kids with Reversible Snakes and Ladders Board Game Wooden Educational Toys for 1 2 3 year olds. [[https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07NQJYY9X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_ibVPFbYKG2HR9?tag=mumsnetforu03-21 Jigsaw]]
We bought this last year on the Jacques deal. DTs love it and it is played with daily (3 in January)
It is very good quality. I think I got it cheaper with a code but £6.99 is still well worth it.

NoWordForFluffy · 07/11/2020 19:43

@CarrotVan

It could easily just be one dropped pallet
I dunno. It went to 'we don't have your parcel' two days after being 'shipped'. That's too long a gap for them to have all been on the same pallet still!

I spend my days analysing people's paperwork and timelines, I just don't buy this at all (and wouldn't if my opponent tried to tell me it had happened!).

waitforitwaitforit · 07/11/2020 19:44

Thanks so much for all those who helped out with the Victoria's Secret tips and the other suggestions. That's my secret Santas well on their way.

Rosie2000 · 07/11/2020 19:46

Anyone else having an issue with using a JL reward code? I have £5 off and it is saying invalid

TheLastStarfighter · 07/11/2020 19:49

Thank you @Haveyoubrushedyourteeth for the Gap 40% off heads up. I got t-shirts for the 3 males in the house, who all needed them.

CarrotVan · 07/11/2020 20:15

Soooo. I have a £10 gift card for M&S and a £5 off £40 spend in the food hall via Sparks.

What do I buy?

shipperssss · 07/11/2020 20:21

Does anyone have any codes for h&m please? Not christmassy but me and DC's need some basics and my basket is currently £150 Shock thanks!

NoWordForFluffy · 07/11/2020 20:26

@CarrotVan, does it discount booze? If so, some of their own brand 'Bailey's' and some cranberry and clementine Buck's Fizz.

waitforitwaitforit · 07/11/2020 20:30

@Rosie2000

Yes, me too. Mine is for £5 too. I emailed them this morning but had nothing back yet.

Helenlovescats · 07/11/2020 20:35

@Rosie2000 I also had problems and phoned them up. When I clicked through from the email (instead of using an already open page) the site opened in a new tab and the code then worked. Might be worth trying that if you haven't already.
Hope you manage to get it sorted :)

Rosie2000 · 07/11/2020 20:49

@Helenlovescats thank you that worked! Code in ‘my rewards’ was different from emailed code Hmm

Rosie2000 · 07/11/2020 20:51

@waitforitwaitforit look in your email and see what the code is- mine was different Smile

waitforitwaitforit · 07/11/2020 21:01

Thank you!

But now the thing I was going to order is sold out. Bloody John Lewis. Grin

Fuckingfuckssake · 07/11/2020 21:09

Is it only the clementine gin though? Anyone had a problem with the rhubarb?

myhobbyisouting · 07/11/2020 21:15

So M&S just emailed to offer a replacement...very strange goings on indeed!

CandyCaneLane0 · 07/11/2020 21:18

15% off selected sellers on EBay with code POPUPNOV15

EvilHerbivore · 07/11/2020 21:25

Thanks @PinkJam
Will buy some tree ornaments

CarrotVan · 07/11/2020 21:25

@myhobbyisouting WTAF??

Mamagotskills · 07/11/2020 21:25

Could anyone who ordered from hype tell me how much postage was? I’m trying to place an order but only getting an ‘express’ option at almost £10

TheCrow · 07/11/2020 21:26

@shipperssss are you a member for h&m? It's free and you get free delivery, discounts on certain items and they send good discounts pretty often

TheLastStarfighter · 07/11/2020 21:30

@Mamagotskills I ordered from Hype and the shipping was free. I ordered just under £80. Not sure what the free shipping threshold is, but must be under that.

TheCrow · 07/11/2020 21:32

@mamagotskills standard delivery was £2.49 for me for one backpack. I think it said 'order £40-something more pounds for free delivery' so guessing it's on orders £50 or over

Mamagotskills · 07/11/2020 21:34

My order is £63 after discount

Mamagotskills · 07/11/2020 21:34

Sorry sent too soon! So strange
