With this lockdown stuff I can think of no better distraction than Christmas! Online present hunting will he even more important right now too.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

Does anyone know of any deals on Lego Ninjago Destiny’s Bounty? I didn’t know I needed it when John Lewis had the Lego deals.

Purpleheadgirl · 07/11/2020 22:01

Can't remember who earlier was looking at perfume from ghost for their dd who also likes make up, but this is on lightening offer at amazon from early tomorrow am

myhobbyisouting · 07/11/2020 22:06

@CarrotVan I know?! I've just replied yes please, I'm looking forward to receiving the replacement Confused

I didn't get into the ins and outs of gold, coal nor the stock market with them in the hope I get the gin!!

shipperssss · 07/11/2020 22:13

@thecrow yes I am a member, thanks. Unfortunately no codes for me on it right now. Might hang on and see if anything pops up before we need the clothes.

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 07/11/2020 22:17

@Purpleheadgirl the pic you attached has some personal details on it!

Purpleheadgirl · 07/11/2020 22:21

@Minions2CallMyOwn thank you!

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 07/11/2020 22:27

@Purpleheadgirl No problem, hopefully it’ll be removed soon Smile

JaneyJimplin · 07/11/2020 22:29

Does anyone else feel like there's not been any amazing bargains yet so far? I don't know if I'm just feeling a bit 2020, but I haven't seen retailers offering anything that inspiring yet. I'll hold my breath for black Friday/cyber Monday.

Yeknom · 07/11/2020 22:29

This is a random one - any recommendations for 'naice' toiletries - ideally a hand soap/lotion that come in a black bottle? Thought it might work for my friend. Thanks :)

buckeejit · 07/11/2020 22:52

I'm the neom candles deal is still on qvc & fab with referral £10 off

Locket / you'll get a decent second hand sterling silver locket & chain on eBay.

Bath bombs - great kit at Smyths - was rec'd on here last year & we did it recently & was easy & fun

buckeejit · 07/11/2020 22:54

This one but there is a fancier one by same company I see

Elpheba · 07/11/2020 23:04

@JaneyJimplin I’ve resigned myself to there not being any really awesome bargains in lockdown because the whole country is online shopping and I feel like in the first one prices definitely went up. Am hopeful there’ll be some bits after though.
My bargain of Christmas so far is the wax lyrical candles lots of us managed to bag at £4 ish. They’re £18 now!

woodwaj · 07/11/2020 23:15

Does anyone recall a bargain tea deal that I think a good few people bought last year?

oatmilkisntsobad · 07/11/2020 23:19

@woodwaj

Does anyone recall a bargain tea deal that I think a good few people bought last year?
It was from the brew tea company but I don't think they have the same deal this year
recklessgran · 07/11/2020 23:20

@woodwaj I think it was the Brew tea company if I remember rightly.

sorryiasked · 07/11/2020 23:22

@yeknom how about this one 20% off with code NEWBIE when you sign up for an account.

woodwaj · 07/11/2020 23:25

Thats the one I found this afternoon but it was nowhere near £40 for the starter kit last year was it?! Im sure it was so much cheaper!

Maybe retailers are putting up prices so any black Friday price drops look more impressive?!

JustanotherTuesday · 07/11/2020 23:32

Don't know if it's been mentioned but there are Tesco Club card offers on boxes of chocolates. Montezuma is one of the makes included.

recklessgran · 07/11/2020 23:36

I agree, we don't seem to be getting as many good deals so far this year.
I think times are hard generally and this is a reflection of that. Hoping for better things with Black Friday looming but on the other hand I'm a bit worried about deliveries so feel compelled to crack on regardless and not worry too much about waiting for the best deals. Looking at my spreadsheet totals I'm still doing pretty well - mainly thanks to this thread.

recklessgran · 07/11/2020 23:39

@woodwaj no, I just found a record of my order from last year. The loose tea starter kit was £15 with free delivery!

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 07/11/2020 23:48

@dumplingsandstew my dd is 8 and also loves lol dolls and unicorns!! There's a new series of lol dolls, cheerleader all stars www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/fashion-and-dolls/l-o-l-surprise-/l-o-l-surprise-all-star-b-b-s-sports-series-2-cheer-team-sparkly-dolls-assortment/p/192836 or Christmas ones www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/fashion-and-dolls/l-o-l-surprise-/new-l-o-l-surprise-/l-o-l-surprise-holiday-present-surprise-dolls-with-7-surprises-assortment/p/193972

Alternatively the works are great for stationary and notebooks. My dd loves a scented gel pen and lockable diary!

For the 3 year old, how about a paw patrol car and figure? Not sure what the newest ones are as my dd doesn't watch that often anymore! My dd loved the dogs and cars at that age, she didn't mind if she had doubles either!

Or if you wanted to get something similar for each, a lego friends/dots set for the 8 year old and a lego juniors set for the 3 year old 😀 there might be some in the argos 2 for £15 deal still.

woodwaj · 08/11/2020 00:48

@recklessgran wow I knew it was cheap but £25 difference puts me right off ordering!!

I'm almost done l think. I'm down to my last few people but I'm also waiting on a completion date from our shite solicitors so im wary of ordering things and them going to the wrong house 🤦‍♀️

MummyPig89 · 08/11/2020 03:46

Aldi’s special buys for this week are online now, just bought Christmas pj’s, jumpers, outdoor lights and decorations!

Givealittlebit · 08/11/2020 05:42

I have an Argos code if anyone needs it? £8 off a £60 spend
