With this lockdown stuff I can think of no better distraction than Christmas! Online present hunting will he even more important right now too.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Vanishing gin sounds like a Fred and George production from Harry Potter.

WisestIsShe · 07/11/2020 16:52

@thelegohooverer I could just order it on my prime with delivery to your address if that would be helpful? It would just be paying forward to kindness from someone who sent me an F velvet b&m sack? Pm me if you want to.

PinkJam · 07/11/2020 16:54

@NoWordForFluffy Agreed, they should have just held their hands up to the pricing error. Rather than messing people about even more.

Redwinestillfine · 07/11/2020 16:59

My Cougar mystery box arrived today. I'm a bit disappointed tbh. I doubt I will be able to gift most of it due to weird names, it's probably aimed at a much younger crowd

TildaTurnip · 07/11/2020 17:02

@winewolfhowls

Just bought a multipack of cute bracelets for children's ta/teachers /etc. Hope they are as lovely as they look.
Where are these from?
InDreamland · 07/11/2020 17:04

I haven't known Fortnum and Mason to do discount codes. If you have an AMEX card they sometimes do a cashback offer for F&M and there is one currently which I've used to order my Christmas delivery with (5% back) and I use the BA shopping portal to collect additional Avios points.

OrigamiPenguinArmy · 07/11/2020 17:05

Can I ask what was in the cougar mystery box? I’ve been considering getting one.

Bryna · 07/11/2020 17:13

Can anyone recommend somewhere that sells the siku/ bruder John Deere's 1:32 scale please?

LutherRalph1 · 07/11/2020 17:26

Hi, did I read somebody raving about a bath bomb lady? If so can you let me know as I've just received a present request for some
Thanks

CompleteBarstool · 07/11/2020 17:26

My fake Oodies from Amazon were due to arrive by yesterday. I've been convinced from the beginning that they wouldn't turn up so today went down the Problem With Order/Item Hasn't Arrived/Request Refund route and had an immediate response from Amazon saying they've granted my claim and will refund.

It makes me wonder if this seller has not honoured any of the orders and Amazon have had loads of refund requests hence the immediate response.

The seller was zhaoyuanshiyuxingdianzi

Now I've got to find some more!!

Puffinhead · 07/11/2020 17:32

Does anyone have a New Look discount code going spare please? I’ve already signed up to their newsletter using various email accounts!

TheGriffle · 07/11/2020 17:34

This locket is £8 in the sale, price shows when you add it to your basket.

TheGriffle · 07/11/2020 17:36

I can recommend the Dreamscene fake Oodies here I got the checkered one and it’s lovely, thick and soft and warm and a great price I thought.

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 07/11/2020 17:38

Thank you so much @TheGriffle! Ordered that £8 and free delivery Smile

CompleteBarstool · 07/11/2020 17:44

Good to hear as I saw those when buying a weighted blanket from the same site so was going to get them rather than faff around on Amazon again where quality seems very hit and miss
LifeInAHamsterWheel · 07/11/2020 17:45

For anyone looking for an oodie type blanket-hoodie for a girl, I got this one from Next for my DD. She's 10 but quite small and I knew by looking at the measurements the actual oodie would be way too big on her but kids ones I'd seen on eBay etc seemed quite short. This arrived today I got age 11-13 to give some room for her to grow with it. It's fab. Very long but the sleeves seem to be the right size for that age. Lovely and thick and warm. It's fleecy inside not woolly. I'd recommend it 👍🏻

CandyCaneLane0 · 07/11/2020 17:50

@LutherRalph1 mrs snowballs bubble boutique?

TheCrow · 07/11/2020 17:51

@CompleteBarstool where did you find the Item not arrived option? I have a skateboard that was supposed to arrive on the 3rd, all the options I can find are saying to enter the tracking number but I didn't get one.

CompleteBarstool · 07/11/2020 17:56

@TheCrow ....if you go to Your Orders there should be some boxes alongside the item.
Under the orange Track Package one there should be a Problem With Order one, also orange.
If you click on that there's a Package Did Not Arrive option

GymSloth · 07/11/2020 18:00

Thanks so much to a pp for the photobox deal. The deals I see normally expire v quickly and it takes me ages to make a calender! Doing the credit option is perfect.

My small contribution, albeit not really Christmassy. Topcashback are doing a deal whereby if you subscribe to the Lego life magazine (aimed at children aged 5-9 and completely free) they'll give you £1.70 cashback. So essentially free money!

noodledoodler · 07/11/2020 18:00

@Brashopper I took another closer look, stranger still. They actually charged me £2 for a gift box, £38 for the wash and then added a £6 discount so I paid £32 which is £2 less than the actual gift set cost. They must have left the intern in charge that weekend (and I need to read my paypal invoices more carefully) 🤣🤣🤣

Brashopper · 07/11/2020 18:17

@noodledoodler, that is good news. I bought two sets and used a slightly different name and email address, so I got £10 off as a new customer using a code I found on here.

TheCrow · 07/11/2020 18:17

@comletebarstool looked again, apparently it's running late but doesn't tell me how late or where it actually is. Might be why I can't report it as not received as it sounds like they're still expecting it to arrive
