With this lockdown stuff I can think of no better distraction than Christmas! Online present hunting will he even more important right now too.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

@duckduckswan - it's not half price but FIRSTPORK will get you 20% off at Snaffling Pig for the crackling advent calendar (& other stuff etc)

Jacopone · 07/11/2020 15:25

I haven’t ordered the M&S gin but am reading with interest. The variety of replies from M&S is astounding😆
I keep hearing their tv ad motto - „This is not a gin, this is MandS vanishing gin...” in a deep, velvety voice....

myhobbyisouting · 07/11/2020 15:26

Absolutely pudding myself at coal and gold fluctuations meaning M&S can't send a few cashews and a bottle of gin out 😂😂😂

myhobbyisouting · 07/11/2020 15:26

Pissing. Not pudding 🙈

myhobbyisouting · 07/11/2020 15:27

The M&S vanishing gin is the star of their Xmas ad too Grin

lexloofah · 07/11/2020 15:28

@Jacopone yy that deep velvety voice is so strange, the ad last week trying to make pumpkins sound sexy was so disconcerting

SpamIAm · 07/11/2020 15:31

That pumpkin ad was so weird, I was waiting for the punchline...

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 07/11/2020 15:31

Would anyone be able to recommend a cheap but pretty locket necklace for my DD please? She wants one with photos of 2 family pets that have died. Where would I get these photos?? I mean, I have photos of them but how would I get them small enough to go inside a locket??

snowmanshoes · 07/11/2020 15:33

Happy Mallows have 25% off (marshmallow toasting kits)

BLACKFRIDAY25 For 25% off

Bit annoyed because I literally did an order on Thursday but hopefully it helps someone else....

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 07/11/2020 15:38

40% off Gap at the moment, and Not On The High Street are offering free delivery if it helps anyone.

mammyaroundmadness · 07/11/2020 15:40

Can anyone recommend a bath bomb making kit, please?

NoWordForFluffy · 07/11/2020 15:42

@PinkJam

I didn’t order any of the Gin, but M&S haven’t covered themselves in glory have they.
It's what feels like the false dispatch that bothers me, then it miraculously coming back into stock (it's not been in stock for ages) after loads of people's failed to materialise. 🤔🤔🤔

I'm too cynical to think that's a coincidence, and they just want to recover some of the financial hit from the incorrect pricing issue. Clearly decided that doing this was better than blanket-cancelling all the orders (although they could've done under contract law).

Jacopone · 07/11/2020 15:48

Fortnum and Mason are mean and hardly ever do any discounts😎. More like £38.50 reduced from £41.

NoWordForFluffy · 07/11/2020 15:51

There is 5% cash back via TCB for F&M.

Notlongnow1 · 07/11/2020 15:58

London Transport Museum have 25% off children's gifts at the moment. Also 10% off first order but haven't checked if they stack. Cute transport themed rubber ducks!

VaprousDropProfound · 07/11/2020 16:03

£10 off Next order no minimum spend. One time use, I hope it isn’t connected to my account, but might be. Needs to be used by 08.11. - not sure if that means end of day.

@noodledoodler, that’s naughty of Penhaligon’s to charge you extra for the box.

I took a screenshot of the original offer: I can send it to you if you want to claim the £2 back.

I know someone was looking for a House of Braur code but can't find the post sorry - HB6 gives 10% and free delivery.

thelegohooverer · 07/11/2020 16:18

I’ve been stalking the naked marshmallow advent calendar in hope of a bargain but it’s now sold out with NM and NOTHS. I can only find it on Amazon now, and my prime has expired so it’s particularly non bargainous to ship to Ireland. Back to the drawing board for dh. But if anyone else was waiting to buy one it might be best to grab it now.

TheCrow · 07/11/2020 16:18

@VaprousDropProfound sending you a pm about the next code 🙂

Carrie76 · 07/11/2020 16:19

There’s a Galaxy advent calendar on amazon for £1.99 with free delivery galaxy

winewolfhowls · 07/11/2020 16:28

Just bought a multipack of cute bracelets for children's ta/teachers /etc. Hope they are as lovely as they look.
