The card machine doesn't normally put the card details on the slip though, not in full. How very odd!

I have a letter typed up and almost ready to go I think (from working in the shop) the merchant copy has full card number and expiry which is all you need for a refund be the customer copy as the card number starred out. I'm not going to get excited until it's in my account though plus my card expires Saturday so if they haven't done it by then they'll have to phone for my new details

Does it? It's against data protection laws to keep any paperwork with a credit / bank card number on. How does the card slip get past that hurdle?!

I think it's OK because it just has the card number and expiry number and therefore the customer cannot be identified by this. They can't stored the security code but this isn't printed on it they also have to store it securely. There's guidelines from the card companies (PCI DSS) and merchants should be compliant but it's not a legal requirement. That's all I can work out though.

I've just folded the washing. DH has fallen asleep putting ds to bed and dd has had an extraordinary meltdown after I told her from now on she is to do her homework on the day she gets it. I'm fed up of her doing it the night before and she needs to get into the habit before secondary school. Apparently I can't make her and none of her friends to cue crying and lots of shouting at me ending in her stomping upstairs and turning the sitting room light off as she went leaving me sat in the dark 😂 she's going to be a joyful teenager!

DH just took our pond weed to the mini pond as it needed to get into the water. The two marginal plants are ok being kept wet until I can take them at the weekend. My aquatic pots aren't coming until Sat!

I've nominated GoJetterGirl whose 7 year old son (GoJetterBoy) lost his fight with cancer this week. I was in tears reading her thread (she's posted regularly since he was diagnosed).

I think my nieces are both karma for their mothers (Dsis and SIL). Niece from sis is only 1 and loves the word no and a tantrum. Niece from SIL is just out and out bossy (she’s 7) chip off the old block though

Bloody hell. I didn't press post; stupid MN!

It feels cold here today and it's meant to be WET later too.

We're finishing work at 4 to have some drinks and pizza in our kitchen which will be nice!

Can't wait for the weekend to start (despite having a kids' party to go to tomorrow!).

Tipping it down here and I have to spend the day controlling year 9s as they have their jabs. Thank heavens it is a Friday!
