My mum got my 2.5yr old DD a letter to Santa kit. 99p - really cute and fun. Includes a wish list. Obviously I had to help my DD but she did tell me some things, the strangest of things being "hills" and "apples and bananas"

A purple cuddly squirrel toy. If anyone knows where I get one from...

Sellotape.
My son asked for sellotape when he was about 5, so he got lots of mini sellotapes, and spent many happy hours sellotaping himself and everything in the living room, and then sellotaping those things to everything else, creating cocooned objects and an impromptu low-budget laser-dodge- type- challenge and generally blocking everyone's path for the day.
Things were simple then..

A unicorn and a hoover.

My DD's asked for a goat one year - for families in Africa not themselves. Someone from Send a Cow had been into their school, they still chose a project from oxfam unwrapped.

And I forgot about the tree - when I move I plan to try to transplant it

Does anyone one remember that cornflakes ad quite a few years back which showed Early Man evolving as he eats his breakfast?

My DD wanted Early Man for Xmas that year (I think she was 3).

I can distinctly remember writing on an Xmas list aged about 5 that I wanted a May Cup set 😂
