What is the strangest thing your DC has put on their Christmas list/letter to Santa?

My mum got my 2.5yr old DD a letter to Santa kit. 99p - really cute and fun. Includes a wish list. Obviously I had to help my DD but she did tell me some things, the strangest of things being "hills" and "apples and bananas"

OMG, this thread is brilliant. I'm dying laughing Grin

Love these. Nice to hear other kids asking for a colour, DS did this for his birthday. But this Christmas DS 3 has asked for a tattoo Shock.

Luxplus · 03/12/2019 20:20

Dd1 has asked the last couple of years for a real dwarf spider Shock she's 5 this year
.. I've tried telling her Santa doesn't bring life animals

When she was about 3 dd wanted half a crumpet with marmite and some ginger beer with the bubbles taken out. That was easier to provide than an older brother...

You could get a sheet of temporary tattoos?

RiddleyW · 04/12/2019 08:15

DS (5) asked for a dog and when I pointed out he’s frightened of dogs he said he’d “just keep running away from him”.

WhyDoesItAlways · 04/12/2019 08:45

sueelleker I've got him some and put them in various days in his advent calendar. He is currently sporting a santa on his arm and will probably have a full sleeve by Christmas because they don't seem easy to get off!

Iwantacookie · 04/12/2019 09:08

Not my dc but my friends youngest dd once asked Santa for an extension so she could have her own bedroom Grin

Spritesobright · 04/12/2019 12:46

These are so funny! I love the pasta poster and the mustache!
Last year DD had a strawberry theme- she wanted everything strawberry.
This year she wants makeup. She knows I won't buy it for her so she's said that she will KNOW santa isn't real if she doesn't get it.
Outwitted by my 5 year old...

spiderlight · 04/12/2019 13:48

This is totally, totally outing, but when he was 6 my DS was obsessed with a particularly foul shade of lime green - everything had to be green: clothes, shoes, bike - and top of his list for Santa was 'A tin of laim green paint'.

mumontherun14 · 04/12/2019 14:21

A wheelbarrow and a fork - she's a horse rider lol x

Luckingfovely · 04/12/2019 14:29

Gunpowder. Grin

When my daughter was about 2 or 3 she had a most bizarre Christmas list (they carried on in this vein for quite some time). She asked for: ‘spots for my shorts’ (NOT spotty shorts - spots that could be interchangeable I suppose!), a restaurant, a windscreen wiper for her back window in the car, and ‘all the colours of the rainbow’.
This year, aged 10.5, she’s asked for a box of crayons and an identical outfit to one of her Sylvanian Families (this will be very outing to those who know me!)

pavlovarules · 07/12/2019 18:04

My 6 year old earnestly told Father Christmas last week that he'd like an exercise mat because he likes PE and wants to do a pencil roll. The elf assisting nearly lost it but just about held it together😂

A rubber bouncy egg Xmas Grin

Happymonster · 07/12/2019 18:25

When we visited a Santa’s grotto my DS 4 asked for a brick. Old FC looked surprised and asked why - ‘so I can pat it’ replied DS.

DeepestDarkestRiver · 07/12/2019 18:26

When DS1 was 6 he asked for a picture of Santa as a baby! Xmas Grin

Mandatorymongoose · 07/12/2019 18:38

DS (6yrs) list was:

A soft coat (basically my faux fur jacket)
A red fluffy blanket
A rainbow water bottle

Then he thought for a bit and said, well I already have a small yellow bouncy ball so I don't need one of those.

I put the heating on and gave him an argos catalogue to look though...

Zacharysmummy12 · 07/12/2019 19:03

A real full size adult mannequin my ds is 5 should I be worried? HmmGrin

Mamalexi343 · 07/12/2019 19:34

Same with the penguin though and I quote ' it doesn't have to be alive' so does this mean she'd be happy with a dead one?

Noolablue10 · 07/12/2019 21:33

My DS has asked for blu tac and cellotape in the past. Cellotape has made a reappearance on this years list. He’s 9. He’s also asked for a hot glue gun and a soldering iron. I’m mildly concerned.

yeayea89 · 07/12/2019 21:36

My 10year old daughters first item on her list was a ‘trip to IKEA’
Grin
She just wants to ‘browse’ for things for her bedroom.

Huntlybyelection · 07/12/2019 22:07

DD9 has asked for a Harry potter dressing up costume.

For me.

Another vacuum on the Christmas list in this house. For the 12 year old. Marginally better than the time they didn't want anything at all...

murakamilove · 07/12/2019 23:24

A polar bear and a pair of boobies (4 year old boy!) Confused
