My mum got my 2.5yr old DD a letter to Santa kit. 99p - really cute and fun. Includes a wish list. Obviously I had to help my DD but she did tell me some things, the strangest of things being "hills" and "apples and bananas"

Last year, a pritt stick.

This year, a rubber duck.

Nice and simple - which is good considering some of the PPs examples Grin

Ds1 age 10 has asked for a shoe horn

My younger son has form for bizarre things on his Christmas list. One year he wanted a high viz gilet like the kind builders have, and another year he wanted a large quantity of blue rack and package rope. This year, despite being offered the Lego Mindstorms kit, he declined and said he’d rather have a set of markers.

Mominatrix · 27/11/2019 14:53

Blue tak, not rack.

FlipFlopCottonTail · 27/11/2019 14:58

No broccoli Grin

Dgs 3 has asked for a watermelon...

Aquamarine1029 · 27/11/2019 15:00

When my son was 4 he asked for a jar of artichoke hearts. He got them in his stocking.

Rumdiddly · 27/11/2019 15:02

Dd (2) wants a moustache ....

Aw these are so cute! DS isn't talking yet so I haven't had any odd requests.

I can remember asking for 'round pearl earrings' aged 5. My year 1 teacher wore them and I thought they/she was the bee's knees! I didn't get them though as I didn't have pierced ears.

I also asked for 'India'. The country, yes. I'd seen a photo of it in an encyclopedia and became obsessed.

A baby sister !
He has a little brother but since he was 2 he's been asking for a sister 😂

7 year old DD has asked for an electrical hospital bed. She has spent a lot of time as an inpatient this year and very much enjoys being able to control her bed 🤦🏽‍♀️

Whiteroverbaby · 27/11/2019 15:47

Some of these answers are so funny, bless them. My DS has asked for yellow to !!! Very strange.

Pilot12 · 27/11/2019 15:49

My four year old wants a birthday cake! He's just had his birthday and had the M&S Colin Caterpillar cake. He loved it so much he wants another for Christmas. I guess I'm going to be queuing up for the reindeer version!

danni0509 · 27/11/2019 16:02

@Indella bless her. I hope she's ok now.

Indella · 27/11/2019 16:09

@danni0509 She’s stable thank you, she has MCADD so frequent hospital admissions are always to be expected. She thankfully quite enjoys being pampered by the nurses.

donttellmetwice · 27/11/2019 16:25

Oh these are fab!! My little girl is only 2 months old so nothing to contribute just yet! I'm a primary school teacher working with 3-4 yo but as I'm on maternity I'm missing all the great conversations around wants for Christmas!

nameymcnamechangeagain · 27/11/2019 18:27

It was actually for a birthday but the night before the big day he suddenly said “I want all yellow presents” fml

JustaScratch · 27/11/2019 19:00

My 6yo wants 'long-sleeved t-shirts'. I am very proud Grin

BlueEyedFloozy · 27/11/2019 19:02

My then 3 year old DS asked for a "white bendy bus with multi-coloured spots and opening doors" 🤔

Thankfully we found a white bendy bus with opening doors in TKMaxx but had to buy those multicoloured binder stickers found in stationary aisles to decorate it then box it back up! He loved that thing!

When my brother was about 4 he sat in Santa's lap and asked for a vibrator... With a bit of interrogation it transpired that he wanted a mobile phone that vibrated when it rang 😲🤣

Stompythedinosaur · 27/11/2019 19:04

Dd2 wanted a "pebble that is cuddly" when she was two.

Clammyclam · 27/11/2019 20:42

Mominatrix · 27/11/2019 22:09
