My mum got my 2.5yr old DD a letter to Santa kit. 99p - really cute and fun. Includes a wish list. Obviously I had to help my DD but she did tell me some things, the strangest of things being "hills" and "apples and bananas"

Life size cuddly slater Hmm

Cattenberg · 07/12/2019 23:29

My friend’s five year old DS wanted a chainsaw. And went around telling everyone he was getting “a real chainsaw” for Christmas. His friends were most impressed

@Mandatorymongoose your reply here is beyond adorable 😍

StandardLampski · 07/12/2019 23:46

A litter picker here...one of the stick things...

Vinotinto78 · 08/12/2019 07:09

A roll of bubble wrap and a pair of proper industrial ear defenders for watching fireworks.

Pawsandnoses · 08/12/2019 09:24

Sausage roll and sprouts. She was 2 at the time. The sausage roll actually went on her list which we posted (sausage roll for breakfast has now become a bit of a tradition). She was most upset when she realised she forgot to add sprouts. My dad bought a sprout tree (for Christmas dinner) & presented it to her on Christmas eve. Don't think I've ever seen a child so excited about vegetables! 😂

MummyInTheNecropolis · 08/12/2019 09:35

DD once asked for sellotape and blu tack. She was about 3, and even now, 11 years later, I think the most excited she’s ever been was when she opened her very own pack of blu tack and several rolls of sellotape Grin.

DS (7) this year asked father Christmas for a mini fridge and a water dispenser for his bedroom. FC said it's the first time he's ever been asked for them!

aggitatedstate · 08/12/2019 09:42

Pet butterfly. I shit you not.

Muir23 · 08/12/2019 09:46

We’ve had a cereal dispenser (like they have in hotels! DD had one at nursery) and a big jar of mayonnaise Grin

Bumblebeechildminding · 08/12/2019 11:33

Cillit Bang and a bin for his bedroom!

Obligatorync · 08/12/2019 11:35

I asked for a coconut once. Got it too.

Bumblebeechildminding · 08/12/2019 11:37

And one year refused to hand over his Christmas list because father Christmas is magic and he already knows 😂🤔

A theremin is what she has asked for, only asked santa for two things that and drums. Also asked him to donate some gifts to the homeless

wanderings · 08/12/2019 20:02

@mummygreen A Theremin? That's impressive, lots of adults wouldn't know what a Theremin is.

GreenCrumbs · 09/12/2019 11:06

To prove it, just looked up Theremin!

beenwhereyouare · 09/12/2019 15:25

@peachgreen
Does she mean a doll-sized bouncy house?

Here's a DIY for one:

DS, who was bus crazy at the time, asked for a bus station and a thousand buses to go with it

ItchySeveredFoot · 09/12/2019 16:56

agitated you can get a kit where you order live caterpillars and keep them till they're butterflies. 5yo dd loved it.

crankysaurus · 09/12/2019 17:01

A Saturn V rocket.

Strokethefurrywall · 09/12/2019 17:09

5 year old DS2 wants a snow hat. We live in the Caribbean...

crankysaurus · 09/12/2019 17:20

All the secret plans , and donuts.

IdiotInDisguise · 09/12/2019 17:22

A bucket... after I said there was no chance he would get an ensuite.

wanderings · 09/12/2019 20:49

@IdiotInDisguise I like his style! I wonder if he'll get a potty, or a Victorian chamber pot?
