Christmas friends, I can't wait any longer...I am putting them up. I have mulled wine, carols on and a mince pie. DH is putting the outside lights up just irritate the bah humbug neighbour next door.

I really want to put mine up, but dh wont let me, i have one out as toddler loves it, glitter lantern which swirls around, she keeps screaming snow at it. (Didnt even teach her snow) but thats all im allowed. 1st mine are going up

Therunecaster Hooray! We've had our tree up since just before Halloween. We're slowly adding to our decorations each day.

I don't give a stuff if others don't like it. We love Christmas, and it makes us feel happier. God knows we've had a rough year, so any happiness is welcome.

Also 2 of my dcs are autistic, so this is a nice slow easy transition into Christmas, and they stay up until the dcs are ready for them to come down. The tree is always the last to go. Last year it was up until March as it was quite a struggle for my youngest to get past. Frankly, I'm not fussed. It's pretty and festive, and as it doesn't bother anyone else, I can't see where it's a problem.

So odd that people feel the need to come into the Christmas section and be shocked that people are enjoying Christmas already.

I did mine last weekend. Dh took some convincing until I pointed out how he shouldn't follow the crowds and just do what he (me) wants

I've just been out to buy my Christmas tree today - an artificial one, I'm not crazy!

As it's cheap and got great reviews and I was worried it would sell out.

I put mine up early for the first time (first week in December) last year as I had a couple of days off work and a really busy month. Didn't get sick of them though they were up til 5th January.

Whenever I have a quiet couple of days in December this year I'm going to put them
up and not be wedded to the 21st/22nd when I usually do it.
