I've just finished baking. I'm knackered! It's been epic. Just waiting for the baked cheesecake to be done, then that's IT!

My dc were so excited to come home to find some pjs and a Christmas Eve box waiting for them! It had treats for Father Christmas in as well as hot chocolate and coins for them.

We've not done the box yet; that's for after the bath later.

It's new (to us) pyjamas plus the plate, stockings and sacks that come out every year, nothing new.

My dc's pjs were new but only from primark. The Christmas Eve box was new this year but will be reused every year from now!

Our two are so excited! But were knackered so went to sleep quickly tonight. See what happens in the morning, getting up-wise!

Merry Christmas Eve! Gabriel had to stay home with Daddy while Wilf and I went to see family, hopefully he will be ok to see people over the next few days.

I've been to Christmas Mass and I'm relaxing with a glass or three of bubbly. DD1 and I are just about to dig out the presents and fill the stockings.

All is ready and I am savouring the calm and final moments of anticipation.
I will have to be up early for stockings (DS and DD go to sleep later than me now but I will be up for the turkey.)
We had our traditional family read-through of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' before putting stockings under the tree.

I'm being kept awake by the wind and am listening out for any sign of the kids waking! We thought DD was waking at 1.30, but thankfully she didn't! I'm amazed the wind hasn't woken them though.
