Ah so exciting!!! I'm collecting food today. Not sure if I said I work term time so finished Wednesday, back for one day in the fourth then back in on the eighth 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Dh needs to get to my mums to get ds' present which we've been storing there. Hopefully he can go tomorrow morning.

This time tomorrow I'll be heading to M&S to collect some of our food! Then Sainsbury's is delivering the bits like cream, dips, salady bits around 8. Then we collect from Booths at 10! Busy with food tomorrow!

Same fluffy we have an 8am M&S slot tomorrow! Last day in work for me and finishing slightly early as nursery closing early

I just got my riverford order and I think we are ready to go now! Fridge now contains 17 types of cheese.

Finished wrapping 5 mins a go, couldn't stop the twitch for DP yesterday and Thursday and I think all in I am around £250, didn't manage to get him a tie and that would have been the last thing, did get him a book, some face cream he likes and some aftershave.

Christmas really kicks off for me today, manicure at 10 and then cocktails with the ladies on my mums side of the family at 1 and then it is just an endless spiral of food and people and drinks untill the 2nd!

My Ocado order is coming tomorrow evening. Hoping everything is there, it is my one shot! It’s £200 I can’t quite believe it is so much. But there is the turkey and champagne and lots of food for our open house brunch.

I've so far cleaned all the windows upstairs, dusted throughout the upstairs and put all of the clean clothes away. That was the easy bit. Once the kids have been spirited away to the inlaws' by DH I'm tackling the downstairs, including a toy cull!

I might nip into town on the train to get an M&S meal for us for tonight as a pre-birthday dinner for DH. It depends how well I get on with the cleaning, however!

I twitched for DD2. Nothing spectacular - she is a bit of an expert with makeup and I bought lightening and darkening drops for foundation to go in the storage system I'd already bought and wrapped grrr

I'm in Tesco car park girding my loins for the last-time-I'm-in-supermarket-until-I-pick-up-the-meat-on-Christmas-Eve.

Picked up my food shopping. No more shops for us before Christmas.

DDs efforts for school (candy cane cookies were more my efforts than hers!)

Today I am getting a few things done at work. But I got to a few shops en route in this morning (chocolates, cheese, naice cooked meat for Sunday buffet).

I have to get to M&S later once DH and DD arrive into town (they have work and school also this morning), for party nibbles and fishy bits. And I want to get some flowers for arranging (but I could get those tomorrow if I don't manage today).

Due to DD's efforts at creating chaos in the kitchen last night, I did no sorting on the spare bedroom. So that is this afternoon's chore.

But I am currently sat at my desk wearing antlers and contemplating a coffee and clearing out my inbox......

I hope I will get back on over the next few days, but just in case, Happy Christmas to all the Countdowners - the magic can now start to really happen!!!

Got my food shop done but need to pop back out for sausage meat and onions.

I spent all bloody day cleaning today. I rarely clean the inside of the windows so did them all today. Effort!

But...the house is lovely and clean and sparkly, so it was well worth it.

Work is finished!!! Lots of things to do this evening and tomorrow morning but by tomorrow afternoon it will be properly Christmas

DS' Christmas party today at nursery so he is currently flopped out on me .

Made my gingerbread house, just needs some sweets stuck on and a roof!

I love the idea of gingerbread houses but I know it won't get eaten and I'd need to move it from A-to-B to make space.

I woke DD up at an unholy hour and we went onto town, she got her nails done ( a 2 weekly thing for DD), we bought the rest of the food and I've marzipanned the cake and wrapped the presents

Tomorrow is lazy day/tidy up . Ice the cake (I have no idea about decorations though, I've got some tiny edible holly/berry decorations so I might unleash my inner Nigel Slater?)
I'll do some chocolate crispie cakes for DS .
Then on Sunday , DH and I will meander out and pick up bread and milk .

Got my order from Mr T coming tomoz and have already bought stand by items just in case they are oos, brandy sauce and cream namely well you can't have mince pipes or chrissy pud without them can you?
Picked up the last pressie today and had the twitched things delivered today too. Went for a long walk and it did me the world of good too. Very busy everywhere we went ,so many cars and people about and queues galore.
Woolly.... am keeping fingers crossed you get your shopping ok , have you iced the cakes? Gingerbread house is AMAZING! Well done!

I've just made cinnamon rolls and bathed Gabriel who has just been very sick. Christmas is feeling precarious right now!!

All prep done now. Everything is wrapped and I've just got the turkey to collect on Sunday.
