Am so impressed at those of you who can buy chocolates and not eat them yourself!
I really really want to buy Lakeland heated airer thingy, present to myself as sick of laundry taking a year to dry and just look how serenely happy it makes the woman in the photo so need to scour for Lakeland codes - I know there's a fiver off one, but now have greater bargain expectations than that, thanks to you lot!

CrazyTink · 07/10/2013 13:02

Matalan near me have their Xmas things in which includes a Xmas duvet for £12, think it's included in their 3for2 Xmas shop. It's on the website

(I would still really like a kindle code if anyone has, have checked my emails again to see if I'd missed it last week but nothing)

Got my quality st for Xmas eve too, my local asda had lots of Xmas chocolate etc in x

Pigasso · 07/10/2013 13:04

Does anyone know if the Imaginext range has any flash sales? Is it worth waiting and hoping for a lower price or just getting them now? I am mostly after the super hero stuff, but the price of it Shock

PoppyWearer · 07/10/2013 13:18

Green and Black's boxes of little bars are reduced in Waitrose, down to £2-3 each. These are a brilliant size for sending in the post to friends and family (especially overseas) when you don't want to send a big present, but want to send something.

FarOverTheRainbow · 07/10/2013 13:19

I'll go through my emails and see if I have a kindle code for someone

BumpKitty · 07/10/2013 13:23

Rockchick1984 ELC still have their 20% off promotion

NeverQuiteSure · 07/10/2013 14:00

This is not really a bargain , although according to camelcamel it's dropped as low as £5.49 in the past, but for all those searching for presents for men and teen boys, I bought this brown paper bag style lunch bag last year and filled it with retro sweets. It went down very well.

Might be a nice idea for anyone who takes lunches to school/work.

Come to think of it, I may well have stolen the idea from one of last year's threads

Better cancel my subscription :)

giraffeseatpineapples · 07/10/2013 14:09

been reading a thread about those on MSE missiggy - v popular there too!

Eddas · 07/10/2013 14:09

I'm also looking for a deal on an ipod touch, i'm not sure what generation, dd has asked for the most up to date but she'll be lucky to get one at all so i'm just going to look for a good deal! If anyone sees anything i'd be very grateful if they could post it on here. I saw the message earlier about an offer in Currys last year.

I need to make an effort to check frequently for offers so I don't miss out!

I miss the days when dd asked for something simple. DS thankfully has a list of toys to choose from, much better than a high price electrical gadget!

Barbeasty · 07/10/2013 14:10

Our local waitrose has their Christmas "gift" range on 3 for 2. Some nice bits but I don't know how they compare price wise with elsewhere. Some nice little toys in old fashioned packaging. Stocking filler type stuff.

Had the DC with me though, so I managed not to buy anything. ... except a witch's hat for DD!

iloveholidays · 07/10/2013 14:13

Sainsburys had their 3 for 2 bits in too. I bought a cinderella lip gloss, balm set and a monsters university and peppa 3d bubble baths for the hamper. Something actually off the list rather than adding to list :)

grew · 07/10/2013 14:13

Dorothy Perkins 15% discount valid until midnight today EXTRA15

Ive seen childrens xmas duvets on sale in studio24 catolgue for £9.99 but dont know about their quality as I had never even heard of them before finding this tread!

MooseyMoo · 07/10/2013 14:17

The Chronicles of Narnia £3 at Sainsburys. This is the BBC drama series from 80s/90s not the Disney version

angelabbie · 07/10/2013 14:17

Hi Giraffe, it was the one that you can fold in half to store which is why I chose that one.

JustBecauseICan · 07/10/2013 14:19

Just a wee word of warning for all those of you after kiddizooms.....dd had one....the pic quality is utterly shite and hers just "blocked" after less than a year. Personally, I'd put it up there with the old Elefun (yup, got one of those as well) and the Golden Coin Maker as what-toys-not-to-bother-with.

The following Christmas from Argos I got her the cheapest "proper" camera, a Canon something or other, which was about £5 more than the kiddizoom had been, but is still going strong 5 yrs later. (and you can tell what the pics are!)

angelabbie · 07/10/2013 14:21

oh and its not small at all and quite heavy
x

attheendoftheday · 07/10/2013 14:30

MistressIggi my Lakeland heating airer is making me look, perhaps not serene, but slightly less hysterical after dd1 managed to be sick over every set of single bedding last night.

Mine was a present from my mum last year, it's a wonderful thing.

Rhinopotamus · 07/10/2013 14:33

I think the newer kiddizooms are a lot better in my experience. Ds1 had one last Christmas and I was surprised at how good the photos are. I was expecting them to be rubbish, but I actually printed some at Boots to use as thank you notes. The quality was as good as my phone and the frames you can put on look nice too. I think there's a new version this year too, so might be even better.
