girlwiththeyellowhats do we have any news yet?

Fifth thread already, how did that happen?! I?ve booked our panto tickets now so am feeling very festive Grin . Tips I learnt from the last thread number 24837 - wrap a huge cardboard box in christmas gift wrap to put all the rubbish on christmas day in rather than a bin bag so you don?t get a black plastic sack in all of the photos

Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

Freemilk. It was a complete fluke to be honest, I'd picked up the scan and shop scanner. I know someone had mentioned a cinderella reduced so was scanning anything cinderella related Grin

pleased with my purchases though. The sticker was ripped off the play tent and tunnel but got it for one of my girls so not worried and for £5 can't complain!!

was hoping to get a few presents but I didn't see presents for older children as such, but think a lot of stuff had gone.

Insomniastrikesagain · 06/09/2013 02:34

Thanks Rugby, glad I posted!

SpottyTeacakes · 06/09/2013 06:29

Allyblaster · 06/09/2013 08:58

Dotcomgiftshop has their Christmas section open - lots of stocking filler type gifts and decorations. Lots of people bought the popcorn holders for hampers last year.

IJustNeedANap · 06/09/2013 09:03

Any gadgety ideas for men? I'm really stuck on DP. He'll pick a few things out for himself closer to Christmas but I still need to do his stocking and other presents.

Mama1980 · 06/09/2013 09:04

Can't link sorry from iPad but argos have designabear s and many of their outfits half price or less. Just bought a cuddly monster thing plus 2 outfits for less than £9.

4yoniD · 06/09/2013 09:08

iloveholidays my dds are age 5 and 2, and have a kiddiminiz. They have lost the carrot it is meant to follow, but it never followed it very well anyway, and it is NOT a popular toy.

I don't know what ages you have or what other toys, but my eldest is much more into zhu zhu pets and littlest pet shop.

HTH.

iloveholidays · 06/09/2013 09:13

thanks 4yo. my DDs will be 4.9 and 2.9 at Christmas. don't think I'll bother then. They get good reviews but I did wonder whether they'd be the sort of toy they'd lose interest in quickly. I just find it hard to resist a bargain

Allyblaster · 06/09/2013 09:59

Hope Education now showing V-Tech Microphones £9:95 each Grin did anyone order the pack of six?!

itsonlysubterfuge · 06/09/2013 10:00

The Gruffalo Activity Collection is on sale today for £9.75, but with promo code BREEZE makes it £8.77 or £11.72 delivered. If you spend over £35 you can use promo code AFSEP15 for 15% off and it costs £8.29 delivered.

itsonlysubterfuge · 06/09/2013 10:02

Forgot to add that it's from The Book People.

HenriettaPye · 06/09/2013 10:08

Yes ally I ordered a pack of 6!

And I have a screen shot of it saying 'pack of 6' and an email from hope confirming if I ordered it I would receive 6!

Will let you all know what is actually delivered...

Chockywockydoodah · 06/09/2013 10:19

I saw the OPI crackle nail polishes in Poundland last night, as well as W7 wintry colour polishes, Sally Hansen nail kits and Calvin Klein shimmer shadows! Great cheap stocking or cracker fillers.

And not a bargain as such, but good to know that WHSmith had LOADS of different busy books in store for £7.99 (Minnie, Thomas, Dora, Disney Planes, Monsters Inc., Hello Kitty, Disney Princess, Jake & Pirates, Disney Cars) to name a few!

prettymess · 06/09/2013 10:22

15% off Itunes vouchers in Boots.

craftynclothy · 06/09/2013 10:24

Has anyone had their lego men soaps yet? The listing said she'd aim to post within 3 working days but it's been a week and mine hasn't been dispatched yet. There seems to be lots of feedback in the last week for receiving lego man soaps on her feedback list.

BeaWheesht · 06/09/2013 10:33

If you buy the daily star tomorrow (I know) there's a voucher in to get a pack of play dough from smyths or toysrus

I don't know if its necessarily a bargain but tesco had sweet shop in for £10 today.

chestnut100 · 06/09/2013 10:37

I just picked up three large crystalicious bratz dolls at tescos. Reduced from £25 to £6 each!

Mipe · 06/09/2013 11:33

Haven't received my lego soap yet either. I do hope it will come soon as I have now ordered the t-shirt to go with it :).

craftynclothy · 06/09/2013 11:45

Ah that's ok then. I guess she's making millions a new batch of lego men. Was just worried mine might have got lost in the post as I've had at least one parcel go missing recently.

ballinacup · 06/09/2013 11:52

How old is old enough for Playmobil?

I was thinking about buying DNiece and DNephew a joint present of a decent sized set (budget around £40). He'll be just 6 and she will be 2.6, is she too young?

pickofthepops · 06/09/2013 11:52

Nuttybean, I definitely think the charlie pop up book is ok for an eight year old, enough in it for younger and older still

BeaWheesht · 06/09/2013 12:09

Ballinacup - ds. Is 6 and dd is almost 3 so similar age gap and honestly I wouldn't buy a set to share, dd does like playmobil but loses wee bits and doesn't play with it 'properly' with it according to ds.

WaitMonkey · 06/09/2013 12:15

ball I wouldn't buy a 2 year old playmobil, she wouldn't get anything out out of it. Much better for the 6 year old. Playmobil contains lot's of very little pieces that a 2 year old will loose, put in her mouth.
