DLA wait times september 2022

A new thread for those waiting on DLA claims as the other one was rather full. @girlmum25

Just making a place. I’ve only just submitted so don’t expect to hear until December

DLA renewal sent off 14/7 for a 14/10 deadline. I keep hoping it will come through any day now. I'm dreading it tbh. My DS was on HRC and LRM. As he's older, things have changed. I'm hoping for MRC at least, so can still claim Carers.

What a shitty time to be awaiting a decision, with the cost of living rising so high.

@NotJustAnybody they are saying they're doing renewals closer to the date they are due to run out atm because they are so overwhelmed x

I called them a few weeks ago, it was 10 weeks since they'd received my form. I was told it was taking 15 weeks at the moment.

My completed form was revived on 27/9 no word back as yet. Expecting it to be at least another month yet.

I'm 14th July stamp date and been told at least another 4 weeks it's taking forever

Glad to see you all found the thread. I've been up 70% of the night panicking about weather my boy has been awarded or not. I'm so tired 😭

Anyone waiting on renewals, I was on the phone waiting for over an hour on Thursday. My child’s was actually processed on that day, the day his award ended- I sent it to them the beginning of June.

2nd of July so hoping this week or next. Was told on Friday it 12-13 weeks wait time

Scan date 23rd june- got a text at 8.42am today to say my child qualities for dla.

At work now so just to find out rate.

Hi everyone, they received my claim 18th July, anyone have an update from around this date? Feels like I’ve waited forever! I’ve tried to call multiple times today but it just cuts off once I’ve past through all the options 😫
