SESthebrave live induction birth thread - waters are gone!

Hoping for my VBAC but 40+12 so come in for induction. Because of previous CS, no prostin. They've just broken my waters - MW couldn't do it as cervix posterior so consultant came, gave me gas & air to use, tugged cervix forward and broke them!

Now just waiting to see if contractions start!

Wow! Thank you so much everyone for your messages and congrats.

She is amazingly gorgeous. Has had 4 good feeds from me and slept pretty well the rest of the time so I've managed to get a bit more rest. Have also managed to get out of bed and start tentatively moving around. DH has been back this morning and just gone. He's coming back again with DS this afternoon and I'm really looking forward to that moment when they meet for the first time.

DH was great this morning as he phoned me from home with 3.0yo DS and only then told him that the baby had been born and he had a baby sister. DS sounded so excited and at the end of the call said "bye bye baby Aoife"
