Hoping for my VBAC but 40+12 so come in for induction. Because of previous CS, no prostin. They've just broken my waters - MW couldn't do it as cervix posterior so consultant came, gave me gas & air to use, tugged cervix forward and broke them!

Now just waiting to see if contractions start!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Thinking of you.

I hope the CS goes well or has gone well.

Lots of wagon hugs!!! Xx

StellaAndFries · 09/06/2012 02:06

Eeeek you might already have a lovely newborn by now :)

SESthebrave · 09/06/2012 05:57

Aoife Grace born by CS at 2.03am weighing in at 9lb11oz!
Had a feed and been asleep for about 90 mins now so I've been able to get a bit of rest too.

Thank you all for your support. Even though it didn't turn out how we wanted, we are smitten and I can't wait to introduce her brother to her :)

Congratulations Ses! So thrilled for you Grin. I knew she would be a girl as soon as she was hanging on until the day your DH wanted - see, she's a Daddy's girl already Grin. Sorry you didn't get the VBAC you wanted, but as others have said, it is a minuscule part of your role as her mummy. Hope you are getting some rest now. Love her beautiful name. Healthy weight too. So thrilled for you! Congratulations again!

Congratulations and happy birthday to Aoife Grace, beautiful names SES. :)

Hope your recovery goes well, make sure you don't lift before 6 weeks, it is easy to forget as you start to feel better and with a 3 year old there are lots of occasions where you could, but you really won't be healed enough inside until then. Even after six weeks when I started lifting my nearly 3 year old I had to take a step back and only lift for short periods like into the bath.
