Hello, my name is Molly, I’m 29, 5ft4 and 13 stone 5. I started nutracheck calorie counting yesterday and wanted to start a support thread for those starting their journey now/ 2023.

My weigh day is Thursday but i sneakily took a peek this morning at the Christmas damage 😭🥹.

Anyone else wanting to join? All welcome!

Hi. Can I join? Started using Nutracheck last January and I'm about halfway to where I want to be, having lost 2.5 stones.

Back on plan yesterday and back to the gym today. I'm on 1700 calories as I'm quite active.

I did Slimming World for years but enjoy this so much more, it's just so sensible. Good luck to you all!

Well done to those with losses, i weighed in 12st 3lb I’m 43 in two weeks and 5ft 2 so I’m obese, I am doing so well today, exercise isn’t an issue I play netball twice a week and clubbersize once and fitness Marshall once a week- it’s what I eat that is the issue but taking it day by day 😀

I haven't managed to weigh today as the replacement batteries I had for the scales were also dead... but I've bought some more so will weigh in the morning and pretend it was on Tuesday.

I've eaten poorly today, but within the calorie limit.

Question re: exercise cals - does everyone eat them? My nutracheck is linked to my Apple Watch and it says I've done 526 calories today - that's just cleaning and general faffing, not actual exercise. I'm just wondering if people eat those back or not?

I weighed in today

Starting weight is 13st 13 and I'm 5ft 7.

Hoping to eventually get down to around 11 stone but I'm just taking it half a stone at a time.

I am using nutra check and I like the easier days function to let me have some extra calories at the weekend!

Day one complete. Meals came in at 1131 calories but I am going to have a banana for my pudding in a bit so will be nearer to 1250 in total.

I ate breakfast late at 10.30 ish. Had lunch at 1.30 but by 4pm I was starving. I'm hoping that my body will get used to less food in a few days otherwise I'm going to be hangry!

First weigh in this morning marginally better than expected at 12.11. First day gone ok coming in at 16 calories over 1400 limit but clocked up 300 ish in exercise too with a drizzly walk. Lots of water to drink too today which is always good. @Jackster22 how do you find clubbersize? I’ve booked a taster session this week and hoping I don’t end up skulking at the back with unco-ordination embarrassment! Oooh, @Babalish where will I find the easier days function?

So first weigh was 14st 4lbs. Miraculously, only 2lb more than the last time I weighed (in May)
I'm 5'6'' so BMI is 32.1

@Goingtobee you can find it under Diary preferences. So you'll get slightly less calories the other days but you can choose 1-2 days a week where you get more. Makes sticking to it longer term much more manageable for me and I don't mind a slight drop the other days.

First day was a success, was 50 calories over but I can manage that over the week. Need to try and get back to the gym this week but I am not enjoying the thought.

Going OK so far. Not getting hungry but I admit I absolutely stuff myself with salad and veg which helps a lot.

I'm looking forward to my exercise bike coming; I can use it while my DH has his morning and afternoon naps. Ideal!

@Goingtobee I love clubbersize, my instructor is really dancy and great and I think that helps, don’t be at the back - no one can see anyway as it will be dark with disco lights ha ha ha get them glow sticks going - I also do easier days function on nutracheck just on a Saturday

Evening all, do you mind if I join?
Like lots of you I'm on the endless cycle of lose/gain so back on the wagon. Just downloaded nutracheck yesterday and all going well. 14,11 here at 5ft 4.
Got a holiday in 5 weeks to lose 4 stone 😂- seriously just need to lose a good few pounds to fit in to summer stuff.

Can I join?? 5 ft 3 and 12 stone 3.5 I weighed on the 2nd and also using nutracheck Smile I go weight lifting 2/3 times a week and I am eager to shift some of this flabby weight off!

Came in at 1368 calories today. Late afternoon is definitely my danger time. By 4pm I was starving again but I did manage to resist the leftover box of Roses. I think I need to eat breakfast and lunch later then I can make it through to dinner without a dumbly tum!

I swear by a little afternoon snack to keep the energy levels up - something on rice crackers, something with a bit of protein in in. Definitely helps me keep going through til tea.

I succumbed to he dangers of the office sweet table today - two Lindors and a pack of party rings 🙊 but in my defence it would usually have been much worse and I did also do a 7k run

Sorry forgot to add my update.
weighed in at 11 stone 4 lbs which means I have put on a stone since September. I am 5’7” and would like to get down to 10 stone. Been pretty good the first two days although haven’t tracked accurately.

Thanks @Babalish and @Jackster22 am just having a look at the diary preferences now and will give it a go at Clubbersize later in the week, pleased to know it will be dark 😂! Everyone seems to be getting off to a good start, I’ve come in at 1200 today so will add a few to Saturday I think.

Went fine today - came in at 1317 because I didn't have room for my smoothie this afternoon.

But the fruit and veg is keeping me absolutely stuffed so I'm a happy bunny - not good at being hungry!

Hope everyone is doing OK and we're all staying happy with how things are going.

1476 today including an apple I took for lunch but didn't eat. I wasn't as hungry today as I had a bit more protein in my lunch. I cooked a salmon fillet in the air fryer before I went to work and flaked that into a big salad with some full fat mayo.

Sorry I am late to the party but can I join. I started using nutracheck again on Tuesday. I do two 500 calorie days a week and the rest 1856 is my allowed but this seems high. Today I have consumed 1181 but it will be the weekends that I will struggle more. How is everyone else's calorie target each day set?

Sorry I should say I have about a stone to lose but might be more after Christmas and I don't want to weigh myself yet!!

@buzzing it’s a plate in the shape of a mouth so it looks quirky 🤣, it’s supposed to be portion control - I saw someone I follow on Instagram using one and I thought it looked good and worth a try
